   Biomolecules are organic compounds produced by living organisms. They play important function as building blocks of life. Biomolecules comprise majorly of carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen, phosphorus, and Sulphur. Most of the cellular compounds are made of carbon molecules. Smaller biomolecule, called monomer form covalent bonding between themselves to form larger compounds which are called as biopolymers. Cell has four types of  major biomolecules as cellular components, i.e. carbohydrate, protein, lipid and  nucleic acid. They are chiefly biopolymers, formed by covalent bonding of smaller monomeric subunits.
