It is used to make a decision of two datasets, then it is an assumption of population parameter.

Step 2

In hypothesis testing, there are four steps

  1. Set up the hypothesis:

Null hypothesis:

         It defines that there is no significant difference between the two population means.

Alternative hypothesis:

         It defines that there is a significant difference between the two population means.
