Ozone is a trioxygen molecule of oxygen and is highly reactive. It has a pungent smell and is pale blue in color.

Ozone can be found in all the regions of atmosphere but behaves differently in different region.

The region present 10-15 km above the earth surface that is the stratosphere is the region where good ozone is present. About 90% of ozone is present in this region. The ozone present here is termed as good ozone as it helps us from harmful UV radiation of the sun by filtering it. It also filters the radiation which has shorter wavelength.
