“Everyday Use”, by Alice Walker, is a story of Mrs. Johnson and her two daughters, Dee and Maggie, whose personalities are totally different. In this story, Walker uses two hand-stitched quilts to symbolize the inheritance. Walker explain her characters as someone who accept African-American heritage and appreciate its values. The mom is a dynamic character because of the change in her way of judging her two daughters and finally acknowledging the beauty of Maggie. Maggie, too, is a dynamic character
that the father was successful in doing so. You can tell by the demeanor that the narrator tells this story that he appreciates his father, and values the lessons he was taught. So, next time you read this poem just don’t read the words. Put yourself in the son’s shoes and relate this poem to the life that you live. of it, they carried gravity,” (O’Brien 114). The Things They Carried follows army men as they endure the hardships of battle. Through the story, we are introduced to the characters by what they carry with them. Each object reveals continuously more about the characters that ultimately brings us to an understanding of who they are. The use of objects in this story relates well with my life. Music Video Pitch Song Choice The song we chose for the music video is called: ‘Come Little Children’, by Erutan (Kate Covington), released in 2013. We chose it because it blended well with our Contemporary piece and asylum theme. The song has an eerie atmosphere as our choreography reinforces the theme that the singer created with different sound effects for the mood to fit the synopsis of our dance. The song adds a beat to our movements and sets the mood of the performance; dark and creepy.

longest, least catchy titles ever. I like to think titles are also something I’ve gotten better at, but then I remember the names of some of my more recent stories and to be honest, the jury’s still out. By this time, I had at least established something close to the format I still use today. In the title of the post, I put the name of the story and a dash followed by “a NaLi Fanfic”. Naturally, the latter part of the heading changes on the pairing or even fandom I’m writing for, but the gist remains

Sarah also used history while writing some parts of her stories, for example she based the Iron Witches on the fact that witchcraft is often linked with violence against women. Most of Sarah’s inspiration comes for music, since the Throne of Glass series came from the soundtrack of Cinderella and A Court of Thorns
