    Albert Einstein was born on March 14, 1879 in Ulm, Germany to Hermann Einstein and Pauline Einstein. As he got older, he enrolled into Luitpold Gymnasium. After they transferred to Italy, he entered Swiss Federal Polytechnic School in Zurich to be trained as a teacher in physics and mathematics, where he gained his diploma in 1901. He was also studying his religion, Judaism. Even though, he earned his diploma he could not find a teaching post so he accepted a position in the Swiss Patent Office.
