particular topic, we discover that the United States was doing a really good job keeping secrets. For example, the Japanese has a reason to attack the US. The United States along with our allies Britain and Dutch, provoked the Japanese to attack. In 1937 Japan declared war on China which aggravated the US. The US and its Allies formed a plan and cut off the oil supply for the Japanese military. No oil, meant no fuel for the war. By the US making the strategic plan to cut of the oil supply, left the Japanese
ORIGINS The religion we know as Shinto is native to Japan and was first practiced sometime before the year 500 B.C.E. The name ‘Shinto’ comes from a Chinese phrase meaning “Way of the Gods”. It was first used to describe the native Japanese religion in the 8th Century C.E. It is currently the official religion of Japan along with Buddhism (Ono 1-3). There is a less common name for Shinto that comes directly from the Japanese language, which is “Kami no michi” which also means “Way of the Gods”
August 6, 1945, marks one of the worst decisions in U.S. history. On this day, the first atomic bomb in history was dropped on Hiroshima, Japan. The second one dropped three days later, again on a highly populated city known as Nagasaki. This day marked the day the U.S., “made itself the archenemy of humanity” (Japan’s Horrified Reaction, 351). These bombs left thousands of casualties. Looking deeper in the decision we can see that dropping the atomic bomb was a preconceived notion. The bomb was
to gain financial and public support for their fight against the Axis Powers. In a specific propaganda poster, there is an evil looking arm with the then Japanese flag and the swastika printed on the arm’s wrist; on the other hand, the second arm looked like it was the “good arm” and it had the words “War Bonds” and the United States flags printed on the arm. The image apparently depicts the “good arm” stopping the “evil arm” from grabbing the global sphere, or as the text would describe it the “Civilization”

President Harry Truman decided to try out the atomic bomb on Japan after being involved in many tragic battles against them. One of the horrific attacks was on the morning of December 7, 1941 when Pearl Harbor, a naval base in Hawaii, was unexpectedly bombed by the Japanese. When the attack was over, 2,403 Americans died. A day later, President Franklin Delano Roosevelt declared war against Japan. In his speech, Roosevelt described the attack to 81 million Americans listening on the radio as sudden

self-proclaimed Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS). Although their motivated by different things, in both ISIS and Japanese codes of conduct, there is no room for mercy, cruelty is their code. Although both Japan and ISIS use brutality to get what they want, they want very different things. In WW2, Japan wanted to establish an empire for their emperor, Michinomiya Hirohito, who
The reason The Simpsons has been able to continue over so many years and seasons are because the programme is animated. In real time, of course, Bart Simpson would by now be almost 40 years old, and Homer and Marge would be in their 60s. Animation allows the characters to be preserved in a timeless bubble where no one has to get older. Bart and Lisa are frozen in the fourth and second grades, and Maggie is still yet to talk. Animation also allows for an entirely flexible setting that is evident
