The La Catrina Quartet is a group of four U.S.-based classical musicians who specialize in traditional and classical music from the Americas as well as traditional European pieces. The group was formed in 2001 by four graduate students at the Western Michigan University. The group tours regularly through the United States and Mexico, with about 50 performances per year at venues. The Evolution of Music by Pentatonix was a great combination of songs from the eleventh century to 2013. The musical abilities of the members of this quintet are outstanding. The members of the group picked out some of the most well known songs from each of the musical eras. It is awesome that these singers can fit so many great songs into just four minutes.
