Identifying personal values, beliefs and concepts ignite the individual to make a well-rounded decision and live an authentic life. As a nurse, I want to promote the best possible care for my patients because I believe in maintaining life balances. Life balances acknowledge the individual’s prioritizes by linking each lifestyles together. Philosophy of Nursing Introduction / Importance of the Philosophy of Nursing As professional nurses, we all have our different beliefs and perceptions as to the nursing profession. An individual philosophy of nursing is defined by each nurse’s belief. My philosophy of nursing is rooted in my fundamental understanding of human beings and their nature of existence, rooted in the values of accountability, compassion, and professionalism.
