When it comes to violence in schools, it’s nothing new. Every day, the news media covers a story over violence happening in school. My views over violence in school is there needs to be better protection. The safety in schools is important because the kids in school is our future. They are our future engineers, doctors, lawyers, etc., and if they don’t have the protection they need, the kids in school can’t learn. A couple suggestions to make the schools safer are practice the A.L.I.C.E. more than
Remedios Varo an artist who was more than a painter. She made her own destiny when she escaped her mother's grasp. She married, and remarried a few times before finding the person she would spend her rest of her life with. She never divorced her first husband. Frida Kahlo’s art was a way to express her emotions, although her accident subjugated her into a “still life” she managed to express her internal reality through her self- portraits. In addition
Still life paintings are a way of elevating ordinary everyday objects to a place of prominence that tell a story of the society and culture of that time; showing that everything around us, no matter how ordinary, can be seen as beautiful. Painted with watercolors in the year 1985, End Times is a still life painting by artist Michael Beck. In true trompe-l’oeil fashion, the painting needs to be examined up close to be able to tell that it is not a photograph. The objects placed together in this piece
Claesz was born in 1597 in Berchem (near Antwerp) Claesz moved to Haarlem in 1620 and lived there till his death in 1660. He is most associated with the Flemish and Dutch still life tradition and still lifes make up a vast majority of his work. His 1628 painting Still Life with a Skull and a Writing Quill is a prime example of the Still Life style called Vanitas, so named as the artist would attempt to display the vanity of materialism. As the name suggests the skull instantly draws the eye, the hollow

I too believed there could be no such place until I found it for myself. When I close my eyes and imagine, I can still clearly hear the gentle splash of the waves lapping the shoreline, and feel the slight ocean breeze whizz through my hair, sending it flying in every direction. During phases of anxiety and trouble, there is one place in particular that my heart longs
