According to the Missouri department of educations website in the past five years, college enrollment has decreased by 3.6 percent. This is a problem for the community as it is predicted that by 2018 60 percent of jobs in the state will require a college degree or certificate. Steps need to taken to open up higher education to more Missourians. There are only two other programs in the state Missouri that are similar to Propel they are Thrive at the University
