3) In my opinion, the ending wasn’t satisfying. It wasn’t satisfying because I was expecting a little bit more. For example, when the whole entire band shaved their hair I was surprised. But, I was wondering as to why the girls didn’t do it as well, I was hoping that they’d shave their hair as well. Also, when Jeffery got sick and Steven couldn’t perform, but in the end he received an award for his drums. But, he didn’t even perform and he got the award, I thought that it was unfair for the other people that played the instruments. Also, when Steven went to Sam and she died I was heartbroken. So, I would’ve kept her alive, I would have let her meet her sister. I would let them have a reunion, then later on she would give some more advice to
The ending of Drums, girls, and dangerous pie was like a cliffhanger in a way. For example, Steven never finished his sentence, the story ended before he could. I liked the ending, because you could make up what Steven was going to say. Also, we never knew whether or not Jeffrey survives. Jeffrey was said to be in remission, and that means that so far he is cancer-free, but it could come back if he is not careful. The story ends where Steven is at his graduation, with Renee and Annette by his side. I really liked the ending, because Renee was mean to him in the beginning, but now she is nice to him and Annette. I also really liked how much closer both of them are to each other, like how Annette used to hate Renee in the beginning. Another
He began to perspire. "Where are your father and mother?"The children looked up and smiled. "Oh, they'll be here directly." "Good, we must get going." but then Mr.McClean heard loud scream coming from the nursery. He run to the nursery as fast as he could. While Peter and wandy ran after him, she yelled at Mr.McClean to not open the door.As he slammed the door open, he saw the lions closing in on George Hadley and his wife and he yelled “Mr and Ms handly are you okay?” and then he turned to the kids behind him and told them to command the nursery to shut it down.” They are your parents; they raised you, fed you and most importantly, they loved you! Are you two really that heartless to try to kill them
From inside we could hear Phineas fall clumsily down the white marble stairs. Everyone stayed calm as we rushed outside to assist him. Finny said he couldn’t move or feel his legs and people started splitting up to go get help and shouting orders. Once the doctors and nurses arrived some of us helped to move him to the infirmary. After what seemed like hours Dr. Stanpole came out to tell us the news. He told us something we never expected. Phineas severed his spine. He was paralyzed from the waist down and would never be able to walk again. He said that Phineas needed rest so everyone should go back to their rooms. Everyone left but I was frozen. It was almost as if I had fallen with Phineas, I couldn’t
I disliked the ending because I don’t think it was right to end the story with the village about to stone Tessie to death. Instead, the story should’ve ended with Tessie being stoned to death, but then the village finally realized the damage and chaos the “lottery” has done and then have decided to stoned Mr. Summers to death for starting this monstrosity. If the story would’ve ended the way I wanted it to, this would’ve been a great example that the world can use when it comes to blindly following traditions without actually thinking if the tradition made sense or not and then realizing the truth of the traditions in the world we have now. I believe this would have made a bigger impact to the story and no more people have to end their lives
Do you remember what I told you that night? That if I hadn’t seen the doctor pull Amir out of my wife, I’d never believe that he is my son? Well, that thought had been crossing my mind a lot these past weeks. Just yesterday, I took him out to watch the yearly Buzkashi tournament. Before we had left, I had sensed a sign of discontent from Amir, but I shrugged it off as if he were tired. Buzkashi was Afghanistan’s passion. It was not possible that an Afghan was not interested. While we sat in the upper bleachers, Amir often looked confused or bored. He would look up at the chapandaz then back down at his fingers. I had told him the sight of a book at the Buzkashi was unbearable, and that he could last a few hours without burying his face in one. Although his eyes were on the horses, I knew by his gaze he knew next to nothing about Bazkashi. So I decided to point out my long time favourite chapandaz, Henry Kissinger. Before Amir had time to respond, I saw his eyes dart to the far end of the stadium. A chapandaz fell off his saddle and was crushed under the hooves of the horses. Slowly, Amir’s face changed from shock to mournful. How is it that this is my son? This rather quiet, bookish, feminine
The heavy white door of the brightly illuminated log cabin opened up. A man stood in the doorway. He was old, with a grey beard.
“Well,” Mrs. Johnson interrupted, “how about we settled down and talk about our plans for the morning?” Everyone agreed and sat in a circle discussing their ideas. Next, they decided they should head to bed due to the early times they would have to wake in the morning. As they woke up, they put on their layers of clothes, grabbed their bags, and headed for the Johnsons’ business. They would be staying in an attic, which luckily had a bathroom, but would have to sleep all in one room. They set up their belongings and set rules which they would have to follow to stay safe.
Aomine regarded the lake with little interest as he slowed Blaze down to a halt, the large Brandenburger snorted
“Afa where are you going!” Mako yelled. As Mako goes to search for Afa he hears rustles in the bushes.
It was very sad to me that the story didn’t have a different more positive ending, the story had a root for the underdog type of feel in the story, you wanted the underdog to win but it never happen in the
I wake up to the smell of salt water as I set up in my bed and look out the window into the streets of Dunwall.
Lova was on her phone doing her normal thing on instagram when deer suddenly messaged her, he said they could finally meet up after 3 years of playing sso and being virtual friends, lova was indeed verrrry happy to meet deer in real that she almost forgot to bring her phone xD. Once lova got in her care she put the keys in egnision And started up the car she drove for 6 hours until she saw deers car at a local walmart near the meeting place without thinking she ran up and started to hug deer. deer on the other hand had different plans for the meetup. he then gave her a drink and told her to drink it which she did, without realizing that it was drugged she fell and slept. she then awoke on a bed she had very tight ropes around her arms. she was scared knowing nothing of where she
I didn't like the ending. I don't think it wrapped up the story well enough and I still have a lot of questions that I feel should be answered. I'm still getting used to endings that aren't happy and I don't mind them too much if the ending is written enough since they're more realistic.
As the first two clones approached him, Neji jumped up and pressed his hands against their spiky blonde hair. He twisted around and knocked their heads together. After that he jumped down and landed on the ground.
Suga gently reached out with both hands before grasping the sides of Kageyama’s head, to the raven-head’s dismay. “Look, he’s scared,” Suga murmured, softly stroking Kageyam’s cheeks. He allowed himself to smirk slightly upon seeing a flush of red blossom on the boy’s pale cheeks.
