Shantelle Jones is a 17-year old adolescent female who was referred to this agency following a brief hospitalization for a suicide attempt. She resides in Rural, Michigan with her paternal aunt, Ms. Wilson, who has become her adoptive parent, as well as her younger sister, her paternal grandmother, and an adult male cousin. During her intake appointment, Ms. Wilson stated that she would like Miss Jones to be less aggressive toward her sister, less rebellious, and to become compliant with the medical recommendations of the psychiatrist who treated her in the hospital. Miss Jones stated that she would not like counseling, but if it was necessary she would comply because she would like to be less depressed and have less strife in her home life.

The interview process is something we have all gone through in order to get any job. It may not be our dream job but it is a job and we all have to do this process in order to even be able to start working. In Katy Piotrowski’s article “Preparing for the Job Interview: Know Thyself,” she explains everything that you need to know and not know when going to a job interview. Graduating college and having a Bachelor’s degree of Science in Nursing is what I look forward to doing in the next two years. I will be discussing myself applying for a position in the nursing department. Being the right candidate for this RN nursing position in hospice care requires a lot of hard work and dedication, and that is why I am a good candidate for this position.

The first thing I did was book a day and time for the interview, I also made sure that I was prepared in advance for the interview in terms of the questions. Christopher Nuckles, a IT Director I interviewed demonstrated full awareness of this fact. he and the company’s CIO, Matt Carey, and the executive IT leaders and displayed optimism the “interconnected retail strategy” they have for the company will ensure that Home Depot remains the product authority for home improvement. As part of the technical team that developed, enhanced, or supported several of the technological systems at Home Depot, Nuckles believes that the key to a successful technological future is innovation. Nuckles recognizes that the biggest hurdle for the Home Depot technology is the emerging e-commerce and he adds that Home Depot is ready for the boom. He explains that plans are underway to optimize the Home Depot mobile application entirely and make it available on all platforms so that the company remains relevant as technology keeps advancing.

For my In-Depth Interview paper, I chose to Interview my co-worker Senada Cufurovic whom I work with at Bank of the West. Senada finds herself culturally diverse as being from another country and culture. As long as I have known Senada from working with her for the past two years, I have never been able to get to know her background from where she came from until this opportunity to interview her came up.

She provides us with details about three categories which are professional resume, knowledge of the company, and appropriate final questions. The speaker gives numerous details about how to prepare for an interview and her knowledge towards preparation.

I’ve been in many different job interviews. Including the Georgina Leisure Pool. Where I applied for a Lifeguard, and Swim instructor position. I’ve also had an interview with Swiss Chalet where I applied for a waitressing position. Going into the interviews I was a bit nervous I’ve never been good at interviews, and pool interview was my first job ever. When I came to the interview at Swiss Chalet I was more hesitant then the pool interview because it was a new experience from me working in the food and beverage industry. I wasn’t sure of the questions that were going to be asked, and how I would respond to them.

In our days, employment became a hard process in which many managers are complaining about it. In addition, hiring good employees is essential to run a good business on a daily basis and for a long run. Thus, employees would be the heart and the soul of a business. On the other hand, Interviewing is an important process in the preselection of good employees and so opening a gate to have the right person in the right position.

When faced with having to find a job and then securing a job, the job interview has to be a home run! Simply submitting a professional resume and completing an application is not enough. You cannot settle for being average. You can wait for the next job opportunity, but there are no guarantees there will be one. The steps Piotrowski identified in her article are included below. The steps below focus on identifying job openings, researching companies, preparing for the interview: the pre-interview, the job interview, and the post-interview summary.

Conducting interviews is fundamental as a case manager. In order to understand more about good interviewing, I decided to watch an interview about an addict mother conducted by Dr. Phil. While watching this interview, I made some notes on attitudes and characteristics that I considered important for good interviewing.
