Business owners run this world, besides older people. Entrepreneur have responsibilities like no other job in the american nation. They employ everybody no matter the field. “Owning a vision” is the motivation that runs an organization to its highest point in power, or to the dirty ground (5). If you have the power to vision, use the same power to create that vision. “Providing the proper resources and build a culture” is another primary responsibility of an entrepreneur and is key (5). Choosing the right people to run a business to create a culture will bring moral and heights to your company. “Good decisions deliver the company 's performance (5).” Life is full of decisions, and so being an entrepreneur is full of decision, good or bad, a choice needs to be made. While people work, entrepreneurs employ, which takes great responsibilities.

I am writing in regards to the Masters of Management program at Colorado State University-Global Campus, in hopes to earn my degree and enhance my professional career as well as my personal goal to continue education past my Bachelors degree. I am interested in this program because it will allow me to complete my education online, which is extremely convenient for my full time work schedule. I have been working at US Bank for 6 years and have worked my way up through various positions to my current position as a Sales and Service Manager. I was able to obtain my Bachelors degree while working here and I want to continue my learning to open more doors for career opportunities as well as gaining new skills and knowledge to help me in day-to-day activities and scenarios in my current position. Management has been something I have always aspired to become involved in. I understand that management of any business place affects multiple people who are customers or employees; therefor I want to be most effective and successful in my management techniques.

Self-management requires one to be able to accomplish one’s goals and is responsible for one’s own behavior and well-being. Self-management skill is not only important for oneself, but it can affect one’s surroundings: organization and people. A manager should possess an understanding of ethical issues, have strong work ethic, have high tolerance for ambiguity, and express responsibility toward commitments. I find that self-management is closely tied with self-empowerment because to be able to manage one’s behavior, one has to be motivated to do so. Because for the most parts, I am a motivated individual, I will use my motivation to enhance the ability to manage my behavior. The characteristics that are important to self-management are integrity and honesty because these characteristics deal with ethical issues. Integrity and honesty are two of my values that I try to carry into every task and projects I have done. It is significant for me to demonstrate these values because trust is the most important in building an interpersonal relationship. Once the trust is broken, the relationship becomes difficult to repair.
Before I dive into the topic of this post, I’d like to give you a little more background on myself and my journey thus far. As I noted in the last post, my first “business” was a pressure washing service. After the jobs dried up 4-5 months into it I regrouped and refocused. I started working as a contract employee at a local hobby shop, buying and selling collectable trading cards while managing the shops collection.

My previous education was management (majoring finance). Since beginning I have strong passion and curiosity about Management. I was very interested about management because it learned me more about leadership and how to control the organization and business. During four years, I have learned management at university of Padjadjaran and joined a lot of organization in my university. Because I reliazed management without practice was nothing, so I had practiced my management knowledges through student organizations when I was student. I also learned about how to set up the goals and manage part of business such as human resources, operational, finance, and marketing. But I never practiced it in real life, because management education system only taught about sciences with limited practices for Bachelor Degree. So that’s why, I
