his chapter provides the discussion of findings, followed by policy recommendations and conclusion of the study.
Discussion of the findings From the interview study of Hauna community, long waiting hours, high cost of transport and stigma were regarded as the major barriers in accessing the antiretroviral treatment.
Attitude of health workers
Most of the participants praise the health workers and they appreciated their attitude. As it supported by respondents that the health workers, have a positive attitude towards the HIV positive people. Nurses are tolerant, understanding. This contradicts with the literature which states that treatment level, stigmatization is felt within the health sectors, where health care workers are insensitive and judgmental in relational to patients who are HIV positive (Developmental update 2004). The participants did not deny the fact that personalities are different, not all health care workers are friendly. Some are rude when they treat the patient’s. General of the participant’s view, the junior staff members have been reported to be insensitive and this makes the availability to be difficult. The results reflect that the participants were satisfied with attitude of health workers. This could indicate that the changing attitudes of health workers as compared to earlier findings which notes that the health workers were reluctant and hesitate to have direct contact with AIDS patient for risk of infection on the part of health workers.
This large population has dealt with and suffered from several detrimental diseases. Even before the 2010 earthquake, nearly half the causes of deaths have been attributed to HIV/AIDS,
The career I have chosen is an early, middle years Physical Education and Geography teacher. This career was a perfect fit for me given my four years of work at a summer day camp, as well as my eight years of hockey coaching. Working with children and helping them develop, is not only something I enjoy doing, but is my passion. I simply could not imagine my life any other way.
There is no doubt regarding the benefits we could achieve by working partnership in health and social care setting, I will explain the importance of working with different parties in detail as below.
Each worksite health system begins as individual pieces. Also, you would like to amass the pieces together accurately and effectively, adjust?
In my report I am going to demonstrate my understanding of two job roles and how they differ from each other. The first career I would certainly consider doing, the other I am sure I don’t want to do, both careers fall into two sectors both statutory and independent (private). I have chosen to research nursing for the mentally disabled because it is something that I would really contemplate doing as my life long career as I would love to work along with the less fortunate people. The second job I have chosen to look into is key stage one primary school teaching, I chose this because I don’t particularly think that I would like to do it, but I would enjoy to know more about it before ruling this profession
Chapter 4 explained the results obtained from analysis of the surveys. The results were analyzed and significant findings were discussed further.
Introduction to Duty of Care in Health, Social Car or Children and Young Peoples Settings
The infection rates of HIV in women ages 15-24 is approximately twice as high as men in the same age group. Access to sexual and reproductive health services in Africa is restricted by the gender inequality, stigma and discrimination in the face of high HIV/AIDS prevalence. The study is limited to 2 cities, Uyo and Calabar; major centers of HIV/AIDS response. Interviews reveal that large numbers of people, especially from rural regions, are improperly informed and unaware of the nature of HIV/AIDS. An outreach program displayed HIV prevention messages, but the signs were in English. Access to ART can be difficult. Poorer women cannot afford repeat visits to clinics. Societal issues are present; HIV/AIDS stigma is widespread and families will outcast individuals, denying them of any support. The study also showed a declining confidence in ART as a form of treatment. Respondents reported cases of those on HIV/AIDS treatment who developed further infections. The article displays the need for better education and programs to help people access treatment for
Results (what were the basic results of the study, how did the authors draw conclusions, how did they display their data, are their conclusions justified) (1pt)

The following section will present conclusions drawn from my investigation and research related to the questions presented.
“Hey I’m going to need you to stay over a few extra hours” is something that most workers hear more often than not. Working long shifts without a break can drain you mentally and physically. There are many cases of workplace bullying. There are also various amounts of websites dedicated to helping victims of workplace bullying. A personal interview with Amber Mann, a 20-year-old coworker of mine at Sunset Village Retirement Homes, talked about how poor treatment at work affects how she perseveres through the grueling hours of a horrible work week. How you get treated at work can affect how you work, your mood and your all around feelings of being there.
Contracting Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HI Virus) in western civilization no longer means living in fear. While taking the medication, Highly Active Anti-Retroviral Therapy (HAART), the virus cannot be spread. Therefore allowing the patient to remain sexually active and procreate without passing on HI Virus to others. This treatment causes the HI Virus enter into a of hibernation phase, allowing the infected person to live a more normal life. Even though it sounds like a miracle drug, the geographical areas that are most affected by this virus are not being treated. This essay will discuss why this medication is not the final answer. How HAART is not available to the countries that need it most, and even though a true cure has been found,
Shortage of healthcare workers in US is a well-known phenomenon. With the baby-boomer generation coming to its retirement the acute shortage of talented workforce is a major challenge before the US health care. There are a number of trends in health care that are currently affecting the workforce dynamics. The use of technology in health care has increased over time and increasingly health care organizations are adopting new technologies to make their services better. It is an important trend that has also affected the health care workforce. Increased use of Information Technology in the health care organizations has led to related changes in the composition of the workforce too. But not just this, there are also a number of other
For health care workers, cultural competency is important for obvious reasons. On a daily basis, healthcare professionals work with patients of a variety of cultures, and many work with team members who come from different cultures than their own. Medical and other healthcare professionals spend many years in school learning how and when to treat patients for giving symptoms, but teaching them to interact with patients currently falls on knowing the things that make up a person’s cultural identity. Cultural differences that exist between people, such as language, dress and traditions, and the way societies organize themselves, their conception of morality and religion, attitudes about illness and death and the way they interact with the environment. Cultural competence is important in health care because the patient outcome, patient readmissions, staff retention, and labor relations all determine the outcome of an organizations success. Diversity improves the effectiveness and productivity of the workforce. Disadvantages of ignoring cultural diversity can result in a loss of revenue for the business. Company growth will also be affected by ignoring cultural diversity. Steps an organization should take to face this challenge is to implement training that cover workforce diversities and keep an open dialogue among employees expressing concerns, differences, ideas, etc.
