Dear Mrs. Gutierrez,
I want to thank you for the time, dedication and passion that you showed as an educator. I forever am blessed to have had you as a wonderful teacher that taught our class in Spanish and English. It is wonderful mentors, teachers, friends and people as yourself that I learned to better embrace my cultures and heritage. I am thankful for all you have taught me academically. I can recall sitting in the classroom always looking forward to the next fascinating lesson; whether it was history of Latin America, science or mathematics. I and my classmates of Locke School have had the privilege of being imparted with a great amount of knowledge and wisdom and of participating in bilingual education.

I believe my success is at least in part due to your sincere support and mentorship. Because of the education we received we learned how to read and write in both languages. Thus, today I am proud to say that this led me to become a certified Spanish Interpreter for
You are correct, the two of us never finalize anything. Although, I was under the impression you wanted me to do some various work duties. I am pleased to be writing this reference at the request of Ilona Byrd, who is applying for the Biomimicry Master’s Program at Arizona State University. I have known Ilona for five years in my capacity as a professor at Glendale Community College in Arizona.
Your recent posting indicates that the University of Saskatchewan is seeking a formal report writer who is "responsible for conducting research and then writing quality formal reports." When I saw the advertisement, I leapt at the opportunity to apply. With a Bachelor of Commerce degree, applicable work experience, and a strong command of written English, I am an ideal candidate for the position.
I am writing this letter to apply for a hairdresser job. The advertisement stated you were looking for an educated and friendly employee for the position. I believe that I have the experience and qualities to be an excellent candidate for the position.
I am writing this letter to regarding to Administrative Assistant I, which as advertised on the SAIT employment opportunities website. I am a recent graduate student from an Administrative Information Management program from SAIT, and I am currently doing my practicum at the Applied Innovation and Research Services.
Thank you for everything you do as our councelor. You are always available when a student needs help. Whether it be with figuring out a class schedule, help with college preparations, or if we just need someone to talk to on the rough days. So thank you for everything you do for us.
First off, I want to say thank you to my parents for supporting me. Mom, Dad, thank you for being there with me during difficult times. You support and understand me, this gives me the strength to continue fight through the challenges in life. Without you being here today and by my side, I would have given up. Next, I want to thank the administration. You have all contributed to making this school run smoothly but also have allowed us to have a good time. I, as many others, have enjoyed the monthly walks and fundraising activities, the cultural fashion show and the fun and exciting cultural festival with the live steel bad and African drummers. These are some experiences that some students have never been exposed to. Therefore, thank you for bringing new and exciting initiatives to PS/MS124. Mrs. Babb, you are a very loving and an easy person to talk to. You have made so many positive changes to PS124, one of which is allowing us middle schoolers to have student council. I would also like to thank my teachers, for sharing their knowledge. You have taken the time to explain assignments, make class interesting, challenge us beyond our knowledge, and inspire not just me, but all of us. I want to Mr. Heaton for granting me the position of secretary for National Junior Honor Society last year. This was a great opportunity and that allowed me to play a key role in the National Junior Honor
Thank you for a great year! I wanted to let you know how much I sincerely appreciate everything you have done for me this year. You have constantly encouraged me to do my best and to believe in myself. Before this year, History was a class which I dreaded because I thought I was not good at it. After this year, I can confidently say that I have learned to really enjoy it. Your class has changed my outlook on History.
My first word was leche, but now, 21 years later, I am only fluent in English. Since I was little, I have dreamed of one day being able to speak Spanish fluently. I have taken years of Spanish classes, learning grammar and perfecting verb tenses, but I am now ready to sharpen my communication skills. By receiving a scholarship and having the opportunity to travel and live in Buenos Aires, Argentina, I will accomplish my dream of learning Spanish, become more educated as a global citizen by experiencing the culture of the area, and will hopefully one day be a better physician by being bilingual.
I would like to share with you why I deserve to represent Westfield High School by being nominated for the Herman B Wells Scholarship at Indiana University. I believe that my integrity in academics, my involvement in extracurricular activities, my ability to lead others, and my service to community qualify me as a sterling candidate for this scholarship.
When my family and I decided to move to the United States, it was with the hope to obtain a better life and a better education for my brother and me. But when we arrived, our expectations turned out to be different than what we found here. Above all, to achieve a good education is not that simple because I have to face many barriers that make my education difficult, including adapting myself to the American culture, having parents that can 't help me with school work because they do not know English, and the most difficult part, dealing with a the poor background. From my experience, I can tell that immigrant students have to beat many obstacles in order to
On September 1, 2012 I moved to Virginia, United States. Many can say that, but to me it is one of the greatest things I have done in life. Being born in Puerto Rico, an island in which Spanish is the main language, the wish of learning English was constantly in my mind. As I grew up I started to take English courses in school; however, the courses were not as effective, since I only learned the basics of English. Later on after graduating from sixth grade I was enrolled in a bilingual private school. The fact that the school was mostly in English and that it was private challenged my learning even more than in a public school. Although the school was a great one, I was doing badly accademically. It wasn’t until the school year was over that I decided to move to the state of Virginia in order to begin with my journey. A journey in which I learned many things from life and because of this experience I am preapared to overcome anything that comes between me and what I want.
Being literate is seen as being able to read and write, although there are various ways for individuals to be considered literate. Being from Mexican descendants hasn’t always been joyous, although I have learned various things that have shaped my life, growing up in South LA was often difficult due to the dangers that everyone is exposed to, even though I come from a low income family, they have always taught me the value of life, and being the person who can make a difference. My parents often worried about the schools that they would enroll me in, wanting me to have an education where I will be successful and engage in what I desire. Furthermore, Animo Pat Brown Charter High school was a school where
I am writing to express my interest in the Student Research Assistant position for Southampton Hoteliers Association. I apply for the job following a job posting listed on the association's website on January 1 this year.
I want to start off my farewell letter, by saying thank you for another wonderful year in Spanish class. I really appreciate everything you have done for me, throughout my high school career and It’s honestly crazy how fast time passes because i remember walking into your class after transferring from Mrs. Nieto’s Spanish II to Spanish III and I remember thinking that this class would just be a waist of my time and that I was only doing it for my credits, but you changed my perspective towards it. You showed me that there was actually more to learn about my native language and that the Spanish I was so used to, was actually messed up and broken. With the years I’ve had you, you helped me improve my speaking, writing, and understanding of the
