Megan was walking home late last night. It was dark, cold, and scary. She was walking along the side of the road when a white van approached her and told to get in. Sadly, she did. They drove and drove for what seemed like forever. When they stopped, Megan saw nothing but open field. The driver made her get out and she walked a few miles up the way. Then, Megan felt herself abruptly pushed into a hole that seemed to come out of nowhere. After she tumbled down the hole, she ended up on the banks of the River Styx, for the giant ¨Welcome to the River Styx¨ sign said so. On the other side of the river, she could barely make out two people who looked oddly familiar. It was Jacob Sartorius and Danielle Bregoli - two of the most despicable people on the internet. Megan called out to them and asked what they were doing over on the other side. Jacob said, ¨Neither of us were buried properly because we are a disgrace to society with our bad music so we have to live out our nightmares down here forever! Please help us!¨ Megan then asked what their nightmares were. Jacob said, ¨Do you remember my hit single ´Sweatshirt?´ Well now the sweatshirt that was used in the music video keeps chasing me and it tries to climb up me and make me wear it!¨ Danielle said, ¨I have to listen to Dr. Phil yell ´Cash me ousside´ on an infinite loop in my face for eternity!¨ Those nightmares sounded horrific, so Megan didn't want to stay any longer than she had to. When Megan started walking, she came
Makayla dropped Lacey off at daycare and then was off to work for the rest of the day. When it was finally time for her to go back home for lunch she wasn't feeling right about the whole thing but she did it anyway. She packed up her office and went home for the two hour lunch that she had every day but little did she know she wasn't returning to work today. When she got home she could feel a presence in her house but she wasn't quite sure what it could be and she didn't know if she wanted to find out, so she walked into the kitchen and started making her lunch. Forgetting the bad feeling she had walking through the door. She sat down to eat her lunch when she heard a loud knock coming from upstairs. She was scared but she reminded herself that it was her house and she shouldn't be scared in her own home. So she walked up the stairs and looked in all of the rooms and checked out every little thing that could have made the noise. She walked back downstairs and now she was very frightened. There was someone in her house and she could feel it so she rushed around trying to find out what it could have been. That's when she saw it...him. There was a big shadow in on the wall and she had no idea who it could be or why they were here bit she did know one thing, they didn't belong here! She walked back into the kitchen to get herself a weapon and tried to walk back up to the space when she was grabbed and
*Slam*. The door shuts. The room was silent, you could hear a pin drop. Leah left and I heard the car start up. We’ve never gotten in a fight like this. Tears started streaming down my face. The tears started streaming down my face harder and harder by the second. AGHHHHH I screamed. I slowly got up from the table the chair squeaking making the same sound it made when Leah left. WOOSH. I think that was the fastest I’ve EVER turned around. I saw a small shadow. Nobody else was home. but there was still a shadow? I walked around the corner…nothing. I ran upstairs and WOOSH again. I checked my bedroom and Leah’s bedroom. There was nothing in there.
She awoke with three loud knocks. Louder than any before. She jumped up and grabbed her oar. She stuck it into the lake to feel around for someone trying to scare her. Something inhumane forcefully grabbed the oar and pulled it down. The other disappeared too. The boat began to rock violently. The waves of the lake couldn’t be doing that. It was to still of a night. The rocking stopped. She sobbed until no more tears could come out. She decided to wait until morning. She wrote in her journal about her chaotic experience. She stood up. The shaking of the boat came back. She threw herself down as something icy cold washed over her. She screamed. An instant went by. The boat was gone. So was her journal. She felt like she was floating. Except, she was sinking. Two giant hands were wrapped around her taking her down into the deep, dark abyss of the
The sun was high in the sky, gleaming down on us. The air was breezy, but not cold. The day was ordinary, or so it seemed. But what was out of place? That would be my brother, the only person who could possibly get himself into such a situation, with his impossible ability to almost die, but just miss the mark. As he sat there on the ground with his back to us, legs sprawled out in front of him, we didn’t even realize that there was anything wrong. Hold on a second. Let’s rewind this just a little.
The light was shining on Evangeline's face as she opened her eyes. Her head was throbbing and as she looked around her, she didn't know where she was at. It wasn't until she saw Mason and Casey sleeping beside her on the pillows that she remembered everything. The dancing and food and the new hideout. The alcohol and the laughing. The bright light. The loud noises. Everything. The world has died back to normal, no longer having the sharp clarity it had the night before. Her mouth was really dry though, so she climbed down the ladder, trying not to wake the others. She quietly crept to the mini-fridge in the corner of the room and pulled out a glass of water. They didn't have any Tylenol, so this would have to do for now. She ungraciously chugged the bottle of water and sighed, plopping down on the nearest beanbag and closing her eyes.
Jaune felt terrible. After seeing his teammate vomiting in the bathroom and being told she was running a 101°F fever he knew she was sick. And he felt responsible. The only thing that could cause her to get so sick so fast would be the weather at the cabin. It was much colder than in Vale and her had forgotten to warn his team about it. And now one of them was sick. Jacqueline said that it was just a stomach bug, but he still felt bad. Ruby had gotten sick last night while he was bunking with team PLNR. he didn’t hear her rather Weiss came and got him because Ruby was asking for him. There was no way that he could turn her down. She was sick and miserable and she had asked for him. So he went and ended up holding her hair as she threw up in the bathroom that was the farthest from the bedrooms. When she had finished cleaned her up, and rubbed her back as he carried her back to her bed. He tucked her in and then went to take a shower.
"Wait. You knew him? Personally?" Liz fights the urge to smile as the radio buzzes to life in the background, the sound of a smooth voice echoing through the silent room. All eyes are on her-- but she hardly notices, or cares. She remembers the moments, those unforgiving moments that began in Washington D.C, and lead to near human extinction.
“Well, why you sitting up there disguising your voice? I thought somebody had got that phone. Stop playing so damn much, Mini.”
Nancy woke up with pain in her back. She couldn’t remember anything from last night she got that drunk she thought. She found it odd how when she went to the bathroom there was a mark on her back. When she was getting ready for school she checked to see if the mark was still there. It was not.
He closed his mouth, kept his head to the ground and June concentrated on the tiny cracks in his lips. He never bothered with chapstick or vaseline.
Sleep had been hard to come by that night. Every time Gabriel closed his eyes, he saw Madeline’s tear-stricken face and it pained him to no end. So he spent most of the night occupying himself with studying the stars and doing his best to keep his mind off his problems. The stars had always helped him with that all his life.
One day in the early spring of 1997 James Jameson was at home eating his favorite cereal reeses puffs while watching spiderman, when all of a sudden the TV cuts to the news and apparently the world is in its early stages of ending. James realized he was home alone and his family had gone out of the town for a little bit, so he decided to set off to find his family. About 3 hours after walking and searching everywhere it starts getting dark and he needed to find shelter. When it was about 9:00pm he stumbled upon an abandoned amusement park and when he eventually found out where he was his anxiety kept raising up little by little.
It was a bright and sunny morning in the city of Istanbul, the streets were full of people and vehicles rushing to their destinations. A small but beautiful looking home stood in front of the Bosporus. It had a white picket fence and roses growing everywhere. Inside the home, a man who looked to be in his late 40’s sat at the kitchen table drinking coffee while his wife was cooking breakfast at the stove,” Aisha, I am going to be late where is Elif?” he questioned.
The year is 2100 and swirling flames of destruction are engulfing New York City. Alone in the hostile environment stood Duncan Smith, a thin 16-year-old boy with blond hair and wire rimmed glasses. Duncan came from a poor family and he always felt like things never quite went his way in life. He had never really believed in himself before, and most other people hadn’t either. Regardless, he loved life. But one day, two years ago, everything was taken away from him. In the middle of the school day, a UFO landed on top of the Empire State Building. Shortly after, he watched in horror as more and more flying saucer’s swarmed the city, destroying everything in their paths, including his family. After the smoke cleared and the destruction was finished, Duncan and the other survivors from the attack hid in the dark alleys of the city.
The next morning I woke up and snuck into the armory making sure that Dad didn't hear me leave the house and making sure that Olivia didn't hear me in the armory. I grabbed a few things and grabbed a pair of keys and took a car. I took the day to go to the hilltop. I arrived to the hilltop and was let in. The first thing I did was I found Maggie to see how she was. I found Sasha first she was sitting on a porch cutting an apple with a knife.”Sasha Hey.” She looked up to me and smiled and I walked up to her and hugged her. She said shakily “Hey.” We pulled apart and I asked “How is she?” Sasha said she hasn’t come out of the doctors yet. I sat down next to her and started to think ‘I’m going to stay here in Hilltop till Negan’s men come here. I’m going to get into one of their trucks and I’m going after Negan.’ I was snapped out of my thoughts with the door opened I stood up and saw Maggie. She looked at Sasha and smiled then her eyes met mine. “Hey Maggie.” I said sadly and she said “Hey Hayden.” I walked up to her and hugged her “How’s the baby?” She said “I’m fine the baby’s fine too.” Sasha, Maggie and I walked to the main house. We ran into Jesus he looked at me weird and asked “Does Rick know you’re here?” I nodded my head “Yeah Dad knows I’m here I was worried about Maggie so I came to check on her.” I said with a smile. Jesus nodded and gave me a look that said that he wasn’t convinced but we carried on Maggie, Sasha and Jesus did there own thing planing on how to
