When I woke up one morning from unsettling dream, that I had a waffle for a body and my brother ate me; I felt strange. Try to feel for a honeycomb on my head, I realized that I didn't have any arms. I quickly tried to sit up,
“ What’s going on?” I asked faintly as I try to move my legs. However, something was wrong I didn't have legs, I was in terror.
“ IM… IM… LEGLESS… TOO!” I heavily sobbed, “ What happened, I fell asleep as a normal human, and now.... I need to get out of here, and see what I'm, who I am.” I flopped up and down as if I was a fish out of water, trying to get out of my bed. Fa-thud, after 15 minutes I finally made it onto the floor. Right before I could move anymore, I was caught red handed. Knock, knock, knock, I heard on the door of my room.
“ Hey, can I come in?” My brother voiced at me.
“ Hold on,” I responded back to him. With no response muttered back to me right away, I got worried. Did he hear me, I wondered as she had a delayed response.
“ Hey, I asked you a question. Are you still sleeping? I'm coming in,” he said, as if I never replied to him. Wait, since I’m in a different form does that mean I don’t have a voice? He barged into my room confused, you could tell by his left eyebrow high in his forehead. I watched him as he scattered throughout my room looking for me. Waiting for him to notice me I slowly try to flop my way out of the room.
“ She's gone, she's not here, she snuck out of the house and didn't come back. She's going to be in
“Are you sure?” he asked quietly. You nodded slowly. He engulfed you in a hug and you held onto him for dear life. You inhaled his scent, somehow it made you calm. The two of you pulled away from each other and Scott grabbed ahold of your arm. “Ready?” he asked you. You nodded again and screwed your eyes shut.
He had tapped you on the back so he could ask you to help him and so he could lead away but as soon as you turned around the air from his lungs disappeared. Smooth sentences became small stutters and broken words and his pale face became tinged with a shade of pink. His mind stopped working and he was left gaping like a
“No, she went to play a round of golf with your father. They’ll be back later.”
I gradually got up, my leg hurting I thought to myself “how did this happen”? I looked around but all there was were green hedges and the hard concrete ground, it seemed I was lost and helpless. I shouted “help” but I was shaken because there was a loud bang, it sounded like a gunshot, trying to find where it came from I reached a corner and saw a glimpse of a head. I felt a warm feeling knowing maybe I wasn’t lost, rushing towards whoever it was I was ecstatic and needed an answer desperately.
My sight turned dark as if I had been staring at the sun and white snow. For some reason I thought I had made the railing fall of the wall. I thought this because heard and felt something fall on me. I started searching for my left arm with a blurry vision. I couldn’t find it until I noticed it was hanging in between my legs. I picked it up and I felt the bone move in my arm. I called my mom and said “Mom I broke my arm!” She started helping me and I kept on saying “don’t let my arm go!” and “It keeps cracking”.
He left the office and went straight to the bedroom. He was going to see if there was anything that he could change into, but he immediately just collapsed on the bed.
“ No it’s okay I can get up, they are pretty big pieces, I can crawl around them”.
I faintly hear a knock on the front door. I bolt up from my bed and put on a pair of panties and a sweatshirt that barely covers them. I then rush down to the living room to see who's there.
Somewhere in the Hoenn region, a young man was waking up to the dawn of a new day. What a tme to be alive, Sinan thought caustically, as he rose from his bed sleepily. At 7 AM in the morning, light was beginning to filter through the wooden slats in soft beams. As the grogginess ebbed away, he remembered that all trainers had to be present in the lab for the Beginner's Ceremony by 8 AM. The way he heard words could be screwy sometimes, and he wasn't the best at writing, but reading and details he paid attention to extensively. So he rose from the bed and pulled on a faded pair of ragged jeans, before heading to the bathroom to wash up and making himself look presentable, his mind was swirling with thoughts. Can't believe I've finally saved up enough for this, he thought, a slow grin spreading across his broad cheekbones and deepening into dimples. I'm so f*ckin' ready, and he'd never felt more excited in his life. F*ck school, f*ck working-- Sinan wanted to go out and explore his heart out again. Get away from the quiet monotony that depressed him so.
The dirt men marched into the valley of death, they had just retreated from a bloody battle in enemy territory. Their enemy, the forest men. They stopped in a small cave as the sun sunk below the horizon.
“Why do you always have to say that,” said Steff. “And then,” said Joey. “This is what i’m talking about, you don’t even care,” said Steff. The two just continued to argue through most of the night until Steff couldn’t handle it. She ran out the house in tears, not knowing which direction she was going. Joey grabbed his sweater and ran after Steff With her sweater, but she just kept running till she couldn’t breathe anymore. Little did Steff know they were in the mythical forest till she saw the tree. Joey caught up and asked “Why’d you run out like that?” with tears filling her eyes, she replied with “You don’t even care anymore.” “Why wouldn’t I care” asked Joey, “Because all you ever say is and then,” replied Steff. “I’m sorry Steff” said Joey, “Steff I love y-” Joey paused as he noticed someone was watching them. He asked “What’s your name?” “Yasmin” the stranger said, without any further hesitation she struck them with her magic. As they both fell to the floor, she fled the forest. Yasmin knew exactly what she was doing, she just didn’t know if the timing was perfect. Yasmin went to her house deep into the mystical forest with her cat putulia. She was looking at the formula, something seemed to be off. She analyzed it one more time and realized it was the formula for creating and forming snow. She panicked and ran to her spell bowl and said “What’s the outcome of Steff and Joey’s future?” the bowl said “They’ll fall more deeply in love and realize they belong
It has been 2 days since the Jacuzzi incident between me and Connor. Connor has been acting like he is a little agitated with me. It has also been a week and four days since I last walked through the doors of Dogwood High though. (a.k.a hell on Earth.) I walked through the front doors of the school a little later in the evening. Everyone looked at me like they thought I disappeared or something, I guess no one told them what happened to me. Connor avoids me during school so no one knows what’s really going on between us. Blair spotted me out of all of the crowd of people, I don’t know how she does it but she did. As soon as Blair saw me she hugged me tightly, “Were have you been Hun?” I think I am going to tell Blair but I don’t know. I might of found someone to be in a relationship with, got hit by a car, and stayed a whole week in someone’s house with someone else in the same bed with me. Blair’s jaw dropped, “What did you just say?” I explained all of the details and everything except who I was with. “Wow, this guy sounds amazing.” He is, as I looked out of the corner of my eye and spotted Conner and grinned.
Maybe I was overreacting, maybe I wasn’t. How could it be him? I thought he was gone, but I guess I got so caught up that I never realized he could have still been alive.
The blood, pooling on the dank cement of the stairwell. The light above shone red, and the blood could easily be mistaken for water. Pure, accidental, innocent. None of which could describe the blooming pool in the light of its true genesis. The zenith was the shoulder wound of Aberoth Ooschie, a man native to Berlin yet had checked into the Park Inn like a guest. The shoulder in question was earlier shot by a man in plainclothes and a discreet earpiece, after which Abe hurried his way out and past the nearest exit sign. He sat here now, four flights away from the roof, recalling the turbulence of fear and joy from the previous night, panting from his own exertion and from Zita's.
The most terrifying night of my life started as I was just falling asleep. I could feel my body giving in to the night and my eyelids becoming heavy, however they maintained open against my will. To maybe shake myself out of it, I tried to force myself to sit up; seeing how my legs did not respond to my brains request, I attempted to try a simpler task, like moving my fingers. Nothing was happening, not a muscle would budge. I wanted to yell for help but my mouth was glued shut and my vocal chords had failed me. In less than a second I lost all control over my physical self. For all I had known, I had become a vegetable for the rest of my life. My heart was sinking.
