A target is something that can act as a reminder of ones progress. If a target cannot be used to
monitor someones progress, then it has defeated its purpose. For the first target of goal 7,2 it is
extremely difficult to measure the degree at which this can be achieved therefore resulting in the
inability to monitor the progress of the country trying to achieve this target. The main difficulty
in measuring this target lies in the choice of diction used to present this idea. the word
“affordable” is defined as something that is reasonably priced3. This shows that the degree of how
affordable something is can be very subjective. This causes a bit of confusion and inefficiency
when proposed with the idea of trying to achieve this

Target 7.a8 encourages countries to cooperate with each other in a constructive fashion and
promote investment in the renewable energy sectors. Therefore, by measuring the monetary
value of the investment that goes into the research and infrastructure of renewable energy, the
positive externality that the target is intending to encourage can be measured.

For target 7.19 data was found to be collected mostly for the developing countries and the least
developing countries.10 11 This was possible by defining the terms that were found to be vague
and ensure that relevant quantitative data can be found based on these definitions.12 Access was
defined in terms of the availability of connectivity to the energy services and affordability was a
measure of the amount of income spent on these energy services.13
In Social Psychology, goals can be defined as the meaningful connection between action and values (Locke & Kristof, 1996; Locke & Latham, 1990). Goal setting is common amongst several therapeutic theories. For example, in CBT client should define an area that they would like to work on in therapy and the set a goal for what they would like to change their behavior to. For instance, if a person becomes agitated whenever they see an email with the importance exclamation point, the he can set a goal t overcome the agitation when viewing emails flagged with high importance. Therefore, the person could work with a therapist through the STAIRCASE model mentioned above which would result in the client changing is negative schema to a positive schema. Hence, once the therapy has been completed, he will have reached

Each year the cost of designing, building, and maintaining renewable energy infrastructure and technology decreases. This trend is most prominently visible in the solar and wind industries which have both “seen stock prices jump since Congress approved an extension of tax credits for renewables” in late 2015 (Warrick). One cause for the renewable industry’s growth is the influx of investors. In November 2015, Goldman Sachs “quadruple[d] its investments in renewables to $150 billion,” a trend that has only become more prevalent in 2017 (Warrick). Part of the strong appeal of renewable energy is that it pays itself off over time. Instead of paying an electric bill every month, year after year, one can pay to have solar panels installed, that while initially expensive, never require additional payments. Not only are they free after the initial payment, some electric companies pay customers for installing panels and investing in clean energy. Many people complain that renewables produce far less power per dollar than coal, natural gas, and oil. While this may be true, the gap is quickly closing as renewable technology improves and prices drop. The convenience of only needing to pay once for renewable infrastructure far outweighs the greater power output that non-renewables provide for
Second, we can consider who would be considering this data and for what purpose. For
Measurable: Goals need to be measurable, otherwise it can be unmanageable. Create criteria within the goal that can be measured to show completion.
Both developing and developed nations were part of the set. The developed nations consisted of 47% of the total set. We started with 43 nations and dropped a few countries later from the analysis because of missing data.
In contrast, some believe that renewable energy is a key factor involved in helping the economy to grow. Many jobs are created in the manufacturing and running of renewable energy plants. The renewable energy and energy efficiency technologies created 8.5 million new jobs and $970 billion in revenue in the year 2006 (Langwith, “Renewable Energy is Economically”). The American Solar Energy Society says by 2030 it could generate up to $4.5 trillion in revenue for the U.S and create 40 million new jobs. This would represent one in every four jobs (Langwith, “Renewable Energy is Economically”). This shows how vital it is to get renewable energy companies in the U.S. It is important to build a stable economy again and do it all while helping the environment.
The method of selecting the sample was clearly defined and the sample size met the suggested guideline for minimum sample size. Data was
The prices should reflect what a consumer is willing to pay. For an example, the EPI pens, which is a life saving device for many people with severe allergies including myself. The public and many politicians have recently been outraged by the high cost of the Epi-Pens. Contemplate in purchasing one for myself because, of the marked-up price of the Epi-pens, and since it has been rise about 25% per year for nearly a decade. Even though the officially is offering a generic brand one that would lower the price and, one might expected it to be at an affordable drug to all consumers. The fact is, people are refusing to buy them at their new prices, although many people are at risk of being without a life saving drug. But the, demand is designed
