Abstract
Automobiles works on the fuel in which chemical energy is stored. This chemical energy is converted in mechanical energy by combustion of fuel in engine of cars. But most of energy is wasted in the exhaust of the automobile hence the efficiency of the vehicle also decreases. By using this major amount of exhaust energy we can improve the efficiency of vehicle. Experimental study states that 35% of total heat is wasted in exhaust. Therefore an attempt is made to use this waste for production of electrical energy to charge the battery used in automobiles that is the unavailable energy is used to convert into usable energy. This leads to increase the overall efficiency of engine. Hence an experimental set-up of Thermo-Electric Generator (TEG) consisting thermo-electric modules is designed to convert this thermal energy to electrical energy. With help of temperature difference and TEG’s electrical energy is produced by accounting working principle of Seebeck and petlier effect.

On a larger scale, the example of a Lego made motors efficiency can relate to that of a modern day car and the efficiency / energy waste that comes from it. The internal combustion engine is an engine in which the combustion of a fossil fuel mixes with air in a chamber of the operational fluid flow circuit.
The film Higher Learning is a call to action. It is a film that shows people as products of their environment. The film is set on a college campus, a place where most people learn about what they will do in their adult life to try to better the world or simply educate themselves in order to live a better life. However, life on the Columbus campus is not good; it is a battlefield between the races and sexes. I feel it is a bit exaggerated, but it allows people to see some of the issues that go on, on a college campus. The film focuses on three freshman (Malik, Kristen, & Remy) entering college. They enter a less than ideal new world that is filled with tension, anxiety and fear. Although the writer uses stereotypical characters, it
Seconds gave birth to minutes and minutes to hours, yet my concentration remained resolute. Despite the daunting nature of the task, I remained determined in what I had to achieve. For the first time applying some rudimentary scientific ideas I managed to build an intricate model of a toy car. “You shall grow up to become an Engineer one day,” my father exclaimed gazing at my laudable piece of creativity. I was only eleven and yet those prophetic words unknowingly chartered my future course for me.
Identify three (3) specific challenges to making direct measurements in the fields of astronomy, chemistry, physics, or earth science. Describe how scientists have utilized indirect forms of measure to overcome these challenges
Teaching theories are as much part of the classroom as the student and the teacher. The effect individual theories have on an environment depends how they are incorporated within the classroom in addition to the influence they have had on the curriculum construction. This essay will briefly look at how motivation theory, cognitive and social cognitive theory along with constructivism have impacted on education and the classroom.
In his essay “Dehumanized: When Math and Science Rule the School” published in Harper’s Magazine, Mark Slouka argues that mathematics and science are overshadowing important humanity studies throughout schools all over the United States. Slouka’s use of emotional and ethical appeals through personal experiences and extensive observation offer insight into what he believes is a problem in our modern society: Math and Science studies receiving more focus and importance than the humanities. Slouka’s target audience seems to be the young adults in the United States because they are the group being affected by this shift in studies in colleges and universities, although our elders should be equally concerned with the rising problem at hand.
As educators, it is important to address individual differences in students’ recognition, strategic, or affective networks, thus providing the best possible support by individualizing pathways to learning through Universal Design for Learning (UDL). A study on alternative education for children suggests oversimplifying learner differences by categorizing students into two groups, regular and special, fails to accurately represent the full diversity of learners in the classroom. ( Meo, 2010, p. 21) Therefore, UDL is a framework for designing curriculum which provides all students equal opportunities to learn, with no discrimination to individual needs. In order for students to have equal opportunity in their learning and achievement,
Staring at engine components of a car as well as holding a smartphone with almost unbelievable thickness fascinated me in many ways indirectly leaded me into getting to know more through different sources about machines ranging from transportation to communication devices. Two years of A-level preparation, further solidified my interest in this area as I found myself very fond of learning mathematics, physics and mechanics in particular. In addition, my curiosity in the operation and dynamics of objects naturally influences my choice of degree, leading me towards Engineering as it is a discipline which satisfy my own interest and most probably bring out the best of me.
Abstract—In this modern era, many advancements in technology have been witnessed. Research and data collected around the world have allowed for these advancements to take place. This has allowed for a better understanding of the footprint humans leave on the environment. As a result, this has allowed for the planet to become eco-friendlier. An eco-friendly advancement in the 21st century is the electric vehicle. There are a plethora of benefits using electric vehicles. Some advantages include no emissions, cost-effective, and low maintenance.
Now a days to travel in conventional vehicle is too costly because of the rising the price of fossil fuel. So Automotive Industry is searching a sustainable transportation for near future. Therefore are so many alternate option is available for vehicle engine like hydrogen engine, air pressure engine ,electric engine, bio diesel engine but among them a hybrid and electric vehicles are going to be popular due to their sustainability, energy saving and zero emission. Electric motors play significant role in Electrical vehicle.
PennyPure Labs is a highly renowned organization, which has enjoyed a high degree of success due to it advancements in the research and development of new and improved antibiotics. However, currently it is suffering from organizational behavioral issues at the hands of a highly qualified manager, who is having difficulty in adapting to his new role, culturally and emotionally. He is disengaged from three of his employees, who have attained tremendous success at the company, but are not being given the responsibility they deserve due to favoritism and preference shown by their manager towards his fellow native employees. There have also been complaints of unfair and unethical policies, job dissatisfaction, verbal communication issues between the manager and the concerned employees, and non-responsive behavior shown by management towards the scientists requirements. As a result the organization is seeking an action plan in order to resolve the various quarrels, as they would like to resolve the disputes internally and not have the employees seek external mediation.
Electrical vehicles technology has been present for a while and is a proven technology that need only reshaping to meet the global need. Though, in the past, the technology had failed to compete with the internal combustion engine due to initial cost, the technology has done well in the past few years. Electric vehicle ability to reduce the emission of greenhouse gases like carbon and carbon dioxide and the advantages it enjoys such as low maintenance and running cost can enhance it market competitiveness. However, as experts try to make its charging system more efficient and its ability to store charge more long lasting, the global need continue to rise. The research proposal, therefore, aim at addressing an issue like government involvement can enhance improved use of EV, development of better EV batteries, energy management system and fast charging can help enhance the use of Electrical Vehicles and how electric vehicle drive train and the battery can be redesigned to make it affordable.
Electric cars are becoming very popular in today’s world and are becoming more main stream. One reason for this is the need for automobiles that have a lower or a zero carbon footprint. For the majority of the history of the automobile, the propulsion system was a gas or a diesel engine that would run off of fossil fuels. The burning of fossil fuels is very hazardous to our world and also creates much toxic pollution. However, electric cars run off of electricity, which is a very clean and pollution free resource, depending on how the electricity was produced of course. In this paper we are going to examine the history of electric cars, look into modern electric car technology, and peer into the future of electric car technology to see if EVs might be the answer to dramatically reducing our global pollution.
When talking about engineering, people would probably have pictures in their mind of engineers using machines producing parts, drawing and sketching designs, or even doing some mathematical calculations. A more general answer to what engineers actually do would be that they solve social problems through the use of machines, devices, systems, materials and processes. They are all absolutely correct. But in reality, both the job and the role of an engineer are more complicated. They do not only have to work with machines and designs. Engineers are often involved in communications and negotiations. They have to work with different people and the responsibility that they have is massive. Important decisions are made by them and they have to use their own judgement. And very often, ethical considerations are already built into the decisions they make. In order to make the best decisions, they have to be understood in the context of their role in society and, moreover, they need to develop good ethical awareness and be able to deal with the dilemmas that they have to face every day.
The maker of the foam parts is controlled to tight particulars since the foam shifts essentially in the firmness relying upon various key manufacturing factors. The dismissal of these foam parts is both exorbitant and tedious since it takes somewhere around one and two hours before foam firmness can be evaluated after make. As of late, the issue of low-foam solidness had been recognized and affirmed as a genuine CTQ issue. A Pareto analysis was embraced that affirmed the disappointment similar to the major CTQ issue for the organization consequently justifying quick activity. Changes in the factors on an individual premise did not appear to adjust the issue thus a DOE approach by means of six sigma was started.
