Introduction
Aqualisa is a U.K. based shower manufacturing Company. The Company has been very reputed in the U.K. market for its top quality showers, reliability and great service. It had launched its premium brand Quartz in May 2001. The basic purpose behind launching this brand was to address the concerns of the consumers and the plumbers which perhaps were not satisfied with the existing products in the market.

The Quartz was an example of high technological innovation of Aqualisa which was not present in any other shower making company.
3) The brand image of Aqualisa was very good because of its high quality and innovations.
4) The market share of Aqualisa was also quite high in the UK market. It captured 18% of the total market share and was third largest selling brand in UK.
Weakness:
1) Aqualisa was perceived as an expensive brand. As a result of which the sales were less in the lower segments of the market.
2) The service of Aqualisa though perceived as high quality was actually degrading and about 10% of the products had defects in them.
3) Because of the high R&D cost involved in bringing innovative product in the market, the products were highly priced.
Opportunities:
1) With a strong R&D already present in Aqualisa, the company could innovate further and bring out technologically advanced low cost, low weight and a highly reliable product.
2) With its shower having very less fluctuations in water pressure and temperature, the products could have very high demand in the UK market if marketed properly.
Threats:
1) The main customers for the showers were the plumbers as the end consumer were very heavily dependent on the plumbers. Most of the times, the choice of the consumer was influenced by the plumber. However, the plumbers were usually reluctant to use a new product as they were used to working with the existing
c. Number of Competitors: Both the global and U.S. bottled water markets had become dominated by a few international food and beverage producers like Coca-Cola, PepsiCo, Nestlé, and Groupe Danone, but they also included many small regional sellers that were required to
Waterlily by Ella Cara Deloria tells the story of a young woman, Waterlily, and her family as they experience the every-day life on the prairie as Oceti Sakowin. Through the clever storytelling of Waterlily’s childhood, Deloria’s novel covers the Oceti Sakowin family life, camp circle, ceremonies, hunts, and war parties, and the introduction of white presence in the Midwest. Themes of reverence for tradition and honoring of beings and nature span the book; however, the story also exceptionally demonstrates the Oceti Sakowin way of life in a way that illuminates many of the beautiful pieces of the Oceti Sakowin culture. Waterlily displays two particularly significant aspects of the Oceti Sakowin culture: kinship and generosity.
Dawn has created a loyal fan base since its introduction in 1973. Dawn marketers utilized several marketing techniques such as brand equity and positioning to remain the leader of dish soap sales. Dawn has built brand equity by using the original Dawn to spring board their new products such as the ultra concentrated Dawn with power scrubbers. Dawn positions itself in the market by fulfilling the consumers need for a quality product. Dawn has given consumers a new perspective as dish soap by being used to clean animals affected by the recent oil spill. The Dawn brand is an example of how brand building is an essential factor for
Second recommendation is to collaborate with other brands. In order to increase sales and expand not only premium market, but also mass market without undermining brand value, there are two options to target different consumers. One is to collaborate with Superdry, which is a young and fashionable brand with great reputation. Consumers are able to smell the partner perfume in Superdry’s shop and make purchase if they are interested in. Another is to collaborate with five-star hotels. There are many kinds of bath

The Clorox Company is about to enter a new product market by launching a faucet mounted filter system in order to maintain its dominance in the water filtration business. To do this in a successful way, Clorox has to conquer this market with the right entry strategy. Main goal is therefore to gain market share by targeting the right customer segment and make an appropriate marketing investment. Also the previous pitcher market leadership must be maintained.
• Installation does not require master plumber. This can be done by apprentice plumber or inexperienced one also.
Price wars are always inevitable with many competitors in one market. In order to escape price wars, you have to design a vastly superior product or look for markets that haven’t been attacked yet. Both require significant investment, but moving into an entirely new market or technology can be vastly more expensive, and therefore risky. If you’re lucky, competition doesn’t follow you and you can have the majority of the market for
This paper will incorporate my opinion of why customers buy Fiji Bottled Water. I will utilize the three levels of product including the core benefit, actual product and augmented product. Lastly, I will give my suggestions on which brand development strategies make the most sense for Fiji.
Since the demand for the brand has traditionally outstripped supply, the company can easily and without loss charge a premium from its customers. As mentioned the company sells its products at a 100% markup and which in turn translate into increased revenues.
b. People in the industry felt that the taste preference was not better than current brands and that the claims were inflated
Opportunities: Sustainable development is a major issue been concerned by us. In Australia, water scarcity is one of the major issue. A lack of experience in business-to-consumer marketing is apparent in Soren’s current communications to end-users. This market, unlike the market for commercial-use chemicals, emphasizes the use of clarifiers to ensure “perceived cleanliness” and clarity of water. The consumer market also appears to be minimally price-sensitive, as communications regarding annual savings are relatively ineffective in increasing sales of Coracle. Soren’s marketing efforts in the first half do not fall in line with the demands of their new customer. A pull strategy would involve adjusting communications to speak more directly to the very different concerns that pool owners and service
