The movie I chose to use for my character diagnosis is Fifty First Dates. To begin I am going to give you a summarization of the scenario this movie is based around. The star characters Adam Sandler (Henry Roth) and Drew Barrymore (Lucy) meet at the Hukilau Café in Hawaii. Henry is a local playboy from Hawaii who goes in the café because, his boat falls apart on his voyage around the island. As he is sitting waiting for his spam and eggs he notices Lucy building a Tipi with her waffles. The next day he goes back, however this time he sees his opportunity to talk with her. He wittingly suggest a toothpick as a hinge for the door to her waffle housed. Then she invites him to sit and eat breakfast with her the next day “Same time, same place.” This is where my movie diagnosis first appears on the scene, it’s about 20 minutes into the movie when it
