Picture yourself in a testing laboratory; needles, drugs, and knives pointed in your direction with you having no idea what’s going on around you, this is how animals everyday are treated, we have to stop this now! Millions of animals are killed in laboratories everyday with no chance to object to what the testers are about to do to them. Animals feel as much pain as humans do so why does it make it okay to test on them when they are so alike to humans? Every day people test makeup, shampoos, and medicines on animals, the strange thing is that animals have different skin, hair, and internal organs than humans have. Since the animals have different internal organs than humans only 5-25% of the testing results are agreeable between animals

Did you know that the shampoo you use was probably forced down the throat of a rabbit, cat, or maybe even a dog? Each year, millions of animals are used to test how safe and effective products, such as cosmetics, are. They are genetically modified, force-fed harmful chemicals, blinded, scalded, and maimed. How could one not object to this awful cruelty? Animal testing should be banned because it is cruel, unnecessary, inaccurate, and expensive.

1. Do people know what vet colleges are doing to America’s favorite animals? Vet colleges are dissecting dogs, horses, and cows. Many might say this isn’t fair to the poor animals being used. These colleges need to find better ways of teaching their students. Dissecting animals America care for isn’t ethical and should be known. America should stop animal dissecting and learn new ways to teach college and other students.

There’s no question that we have advanced dramatically when it comes to medicine, for example, in the last ½ of a century alone we’ve managed to cure, and even prevent certain cancers, we’ve created vaccines, so diseases like mumps or polio are unheard of and shocking. But how much of this can be accredited to animal tests? A lot less than you would think. Most drugs that were found successful in animal tests were found dangerous, or even fatal in humans. There are plenty of other more humane and accurate ways to accomplish what scientists are looking for in animal tests, but they still conduct these sickening experiments. This is why animal testing is inhumane, cruel, and useless.

William Hazlitt once said, “When a thing ceases to be a subject of controversy, it ceases to be a subject of interest.” Animal testing has been a part of society for many years however, the debates of the ethics of animal testing have risen in the past years. People argue that it is unethical to treat animals in such a manner. Others say that it is essential to medical advancements. Animal testing has both drawbacks and benefits.

Everyday animals are being locked up in cages and are being tested on. Animals in laboratories do not provide reliable results in human beings, and are going through cruel and inhumane tests. There are also alternative methods that replace the need for the animals. Testing animals has contributed to many life savings cures and treatments, along with animals themselves benefiting from the results of the testing. Animals are also similar to humans in many ways and are appropriate test subjects. Animal testing needs to stop because every year 100 million animals die. The animals have no say in this treatment being done to them. Animals cannot be tested in a variety of human procedures despite what the benefits are.

One day, a kid named Johnny had Parkinson’s disease. But, he was cured just in time due to animal testing. Yes, animal testing saved lives, yet many people do not believe in the importance of doing testing on animal test subjects to find the effectivity of the product. However, it is way more true that animal testing is not cruel, and it should remain legal. My reasons for saying this is that animal testing has made a major impact in the medical field, animals in testing receive the highest standards of care provided by law, and finally animals and humans have a lot more in common that meets the eye, making tests accurate.

Imagine this; you’re a small, shivering rabbit cramped in the corner of your miniature metal cage, attempting to sleep but being kept awake by a persistent pain running throughout your entire body. You have been awake for over 53 hours, undergoing intense experimental research, you're sleep deprived and overwhelmed with pain, and all you can do is tremble with fear and pain hoping for it to come to an end. Fortunately for you it will end, because soon enough scientists are going to decapitate you and remove your brain to study the effects of their experiments. This is just one of the things that scientists do to living breathing animals undergoing research experiments daily, and one of the many reasons why you should wholeheartedly agree that animal testing should be banned worldwide. Animal testing should also be banned because it’s unethical, old fashioned. It’s simply bad science.

One of the reasons why i believe that animals in a laboratory should be abolished of being conducted into research is a bad idea because the cost for the maintenance of the animal is to much. we all know that when you get an animal you need to take good care of it. Taking care of a animal means that you need to be dedicated the time to the animal so people spent tons of money to keep the animal is great shape. When someone spends money on a object is because that person cares about that object that he is speeding his money on. In a laboratory, scientist spent the same great amount of money then any other regular people would do just to keep the animal alive but in the other hand scientist buys animals for the animal in order to perform the chemical drug to the animal.

Imagine that the shot/medicine wasn’t even made for you and it was made for animals, that wouldn’t be good for our body’s right? Well, that’s what some animals have to go through every day in animal testing. Think about how much harm the medicine is doing to the animals and their body.
