Then, she maintains her positivity by making presents for her friends and family to remind them to never to leave behind past traditions even in desperate times, demonstrating her growth in maturity. In the end, when times become tougher than ever, Anne turns to her diary even more so to hide away from reality, giving her a genuine chance to collect her thoughts and find herself as a woman. Anne’s mixture of positivity and maturity allow her to face adversity with a smile on her face and teaches readers that they can do the same if they find ways to alleviate their burdens while staying positive.
