The research officer in charge suggested to submit a survey that just in case can be modified after the ethical approval.
You’re online, searching for a good website to use, you click on one and the next thing you know the site is blocked. You repeat this process several more times ending up with only blocked websites and left with the sites with very little to no information to help you. For us students, this is what we have to deal with just about every day. When we need information on something we usually just end up with a plethora of blocked sites instead of useful information. Allowing students freedom online would not only help them with things such as finding information for papers but it would also show us that school officials trusts us and see us as young adults. There is the issue that students could abuse this privilege by looking up offensive or inappropriate material when they know they shouldn’t. To keep that problem from happening, online searches will still be monitored, as they are now, and if a student is caught looking up inappropriate material, then that student will either be warned or get penalized for their actions. By enforcing this, it would be far more beneficial to students than by blocking
The level of usability of a website is determined by how simple it is for a visitor to use and explore a website (Stokes, 2013, p. 95). Eataly is a company that sells Italian products online and in their various locations which also feature restaurants and activities that all relate to Italian food and products. The purpose of this paper is to assess the level of usability of the Eataly website and how four specific design topics, navigation, search options, professionalism, and breadcrumbs, impact the usability.
A quality assessment based on the PEDro checklist, was performed for the included articles (Table 5). The questions below were answered with yes (Y) or no (N).
The students were mailed the survey, a cover letter a consent form. They were given 9 days to do the survey. This survey consists of 32 questions about campus involvement. My goal was to find out how involved students are around campus. I surveyed 30 students and 100% of them attend Lamar University. This survey was taken by 12 males and 18 females. The age range for this survey was 17 and up. Majority of the data in the survey shows that students are not very involved around campus. My original goal for this survey was to find out how involved students are around campus. I did not achieve the results I wanted or expected. I was very surprised to find out that students are not very involved around Lamar University. For most of the answers, I got the exact opposite of what I expected. It is very surprising that only 50% of students said they sometimes
The scholars frequently propose education and attainment of a college degree as a sure way of enhancing the police performance and attitudes (Roberg & Bonn, 2004). Unfortunately, scientific studies regarding the impact of education on policing is limited, with weak methodologies and are usually contradictory. In recent studies, Goldstein, Carter & Sapp (1990) concluded that if a college degree makes the police officers more tolerant, ethical, moral and if they use recommended force against the citizens, they would be expected to be less supportive of police use of excessive force and highly supportive of the use of proper rules and regulations on use of excessive force (ANZPAA, 2012).
What distracts you and what do you do to ward off the distractions to remain productive?
The study was conducted with no specific hours and was obtained from October 7th 2014 through October 14th, 2014. The researchers from Psychology Class 250 and I chose participants and approached them. We asked them if they wanted to participate for the survey, and if they agreed, we would have them sign a consent form. Afterwards, we would give them the questionnaire to fill out. I stepped away for the duration of completion of the questionnaire. I also asked the participants if they had any questions. After the questionnaires were complete, I collected them. Data was inputted into SPSS for analysis.
There were only two weeks to collect the data. The time was no sufficient enough to gather large sample size. So, in future data should be collected through one month and sample size needs to be larger to clarify the problems. It was not feasible to make sure that sampling method would be convenient. Therefore, the data might not be representative of the entire population. In the questionnaire, for the last question the respondents were asked to number the choices which would make the car parking service more appealing to customers. Some of the respondents could not answer the question properly in the Qualtrics and as a result, some data were missing. So, the question needs to be made as Likert scale. Then the respondents could answer the question easily. In addition, more information is needed to find out the factors of dissatisfaction. Thus, in future couple of more questions needs to be introduced to gain better
I strongly side with the fact that there should be restrictions towards players being blockaded
I currently I own and run a small website design and maintenance business for 2 years and I have seen social psychology phenomena in many of the business aspects. The World Wide Web consists of a collection of electronic documents in the form of web pages. These web pages have unique addresses called URL’s that show where to locate the web page on the World Wide Web. This essay will examine various definitions of URL’s and cookies, and why a web analyst should care about their importance.
“Access Denied” - the same constant screen continues to pop up on a laptop for hours and hours as one rushes to finish a project that is due the next day. Since the topic they are researching is so-called “sensitive,” most of the information is blocked. However, there is no other choice. These problems, which many students have, are due to blocks put on computers, otherwise known as web filters. Web filters are systems where websites that are deemed “inappropriate” or “offensive” are restricted. Web filters are not efficient because they prevent students from getting information they need, as mentioned in the example above. Additionally, web filters are highly overpriced and can cost districts thousands of dollars. On the other hand, proponents
