When we were children, we were raised on this a belief that if you desperately wanted something enough and were motivated to work for it, you could achieve that goal. As a child I loved art and my parents would always find me drawing, trying to improve my skill.
When I first entered high school, I chose the Imagine-It academy, which is apart of Venture Academy, because it was known for its art and technology. That year was when I learned I had social anxiety and wasn’t just shy. I had a hard time going to school and talking to the teachers, as well as the students. My immune system was starting to get affected by the stress, to the point where I would miss a few days to a week at a time just from being sick. I switched schools my sophomore year, to a school I where I was more comfortable and had a better chance of getting classes that would help get me ready for college. I gained

So I switched schools again, this time to Delta Vista, the college prep academy. At this school not only am I taking more vigorous classes, I am also dual-enrolled in Grand Canyon University, where I am taking courses such as English, U.S. History, Sociology, and Statistics.
Which leads me to my educational goal, which is to be the first person in my immediate family to graduate from a university. Both of my brothers are currently in a local junior college, and they have said they feel as though they are squandering their time, and I would prefer not to feel the same way.
My major choice as of the present is exploratory, due to me wanting to pursue multiple educational avenues and identify with something I can be passionate about. I have always been apart of events and teams for my school and community, and would like to continue helping out throughout my college
Growing up, school was not a major factor in my life. I come from a hard-working, middle-class military family. My mother, a Filipino immigrant, was a homemaker. My father was a 21-year United States Marine veteran. They were my first impression of what I thought my future would be. Being the youngest of four children, I was expected to fall in line behind my siblings when it came to education. I was never pushed to excel in my studies, so I did just enough to get by. As I watched friends escape the grasp of a military town and ascend to their respective colleges, I was left wondering what was next for me. I attended my local community college for a brief period of time. I treated college no different than high school. I
To make the presentation look professional and attractive, I would be using as many different types of information as possible, such as pictures, charts, sound, videos, tables and of course text and numbers.

My current school, Landmark College, is an extremely small college in the town of Putney, Vermont. To be honest, I only ended up here because my mom forced me to come here for a summer program while I was still enrolled in The University Of Hartford. I was doing terribly in school and she thought the program would help straighten me out. Landmark College is the only college in the country specifically for student with learning disabilities. As someone with extreme ADHD, I’ve always struggled in school and at the University Of Hartford I wasn’t getting the help I needed at the time. Nobody ever really taught me how to manage my learning differences until I attended the summer session at Landmark. I truly hated the school at first. Being from
We as humans love to think of ideas and plans that we will never actually follow through with. Humans get bored of their ideas really quickly when things don’t work out right away. Creating and preparing for the new idea is the part that we enjoy the most. Imagining the success of something is almost all one needs to be content with the idea that they will probably never undertake. Some prepare completely and then never follow through with their work for fear of never finding the “right” time to start. Those who wish and only dream about achieving something remain ignorant and never understand the value of hard work. The only worthwhile gain is in actual experience and in just trying even if one fails. When the hard work starts, people give up and are
For instance, winning competitions made me feel good, so that motivated me to work harder for me to get the first place. Also, I needed hot-blooded bursts of effort to masterfully execute sophisticated musical interpretations so I can satisfy the audience and myself. In due course, I started to see the fruits of my hard, sweaty work; I started winning many piano competitions. Much to my benefit, my hard-working skill transferred over to my academic endeavors as well, helping me to finish my homework in time while striving to create quality content. Although the process of working through tough musical spots in a music piece was challenging and painful at times, I learned through experience that being indefatigably persistent through the times of unbearably toiling moments is the only way to obtain my desired
