When it comes to abortion, everyone has a slightly different view. Whether one believes that no one, or everyone, should be allowed to get an abortion, the same question comes into play: Is abortion ethical? In addition, when does a human life actually start? Without concrete facts, we can only do so much with those questions, which is why this is such a controversial topic. We need to consider all the facts and information available. For example, whether or not a fetus feels pain, how old the fetus is, and what condition the pregnant woman is in. The main argument comes down to pro-life versus pro-choice. Many people base their opinion on if abortion is wrong is based off the opinion of when a person feels that life has begun. Many women who discover that they will be having a baby soon become really happy about the idea. Also, some who get abortions feel that pregnancy is nothing more than an inconvenience. Sometimes this inconvenience is sought to be an issue that can easily be resolved such as adoption or abortion methods. There are also times where conflicting issues create consideration about if the baby should be kept.

On January 22, 1973, the United States Supreme Court ruled, in a 7-2 decision, on the Roe vs. Wade case legalizing abortion. Since the legalization of abortion in 1973, there have been approximately 60 million abortions within the United States. The Roe vs. Wade ruling sparked a controversial debate that has lasted for over 40 years. People that are pro-choice believe that abortion should be legal and that it is ultimately the mother’s decision. The opposite of pro-choice is pro-life. People that associate with this stance believe that abortion is wrong and any life, whether born or unborn, should be protected. Over the years, there have been several arguments established both for and against abortion. Three strong arguments of pro-life are that life begins at conception, there are harmful mental effects of abortion, and there are flaws to the Roe vs. Wade final ruling.

Many people have wondered why abortion is legal, resulting in many riots. EC Duckworth expands on this very idea, during the 1960’s and the beginning of the 1970’s, the United States began to annul the ban on abortion. In 1973, Roe v. Wade, the United States Supreme Court argued that the bans on abortion were unconstitutional for every state. That made it legalized throughout the United States, but why was it legalized? Abortion is the most disputed argument in the United States dividing its people nationwide. To clarify abortion is legal in the United States. There is rallys marching annually for abortion to be banned. My objective is to stop pro-life crowds harassing women outside plan parenthoods. I will be discussing pro-choice arguments and counterarguments to those of the pro-life views. In addition i will include Judith Thomson's violinist analogy and john Hospers libertarianism views and how this proves my argument in how abortion is morally permissible.

An unplanned pregnancy can be either the most marvelous thing in a person’s life or it can be the worst. For those that decide that this unplanned pregnancy is unwanted, most decide to get an abortion. “Currently, there are about 1.2 million abortions that are performed each year in the United States” (Trupin 1). Abortion can be and is a very touchy topic to most people. That’s why it isn’t allowed to be the topic of discussion in schools, churches, or even a place of business.

Abortion is a very notorious topic of discussion, whether it should or shouldn't be legal. Could reasons be the fear of overpopulation, the fear of becoming a mother or is the child is not wanted? But why take a child's life for those reasons? The abortion law was passed mid-to-late 1800’s by Roe V. Wade. It is the deliberate termination of a human pregnancy, most often performed during the first 28 weeks of pregnancy. Why I believe abortion should be viewed as bad is because how could a woman be all right with the fact to basically be considered a “murder” of a child, but not only that, there are options that they don't even consider.

Abortion is a discussion of human interaction, in which emotions, ethics, and law all come together. In many cases, people on both sides of the argument have valid points and take moral positions. A pro-choice position would assert that the decision to terminate a pregnancy lies the mother and that the government has no right to interfere or step in and make that decision. On the other hand, the position of pro-life advocates argue that life begins at the moment of conception. They believe that because the embryo or fetus is a human life and that one has no moral right to abort it. This theory argues that this human has no power or say in the matter and is rendered helpless from advocating for itself. Although abortion is a morally and emotionally charged issues, it is ultimately protected under the 14th amendment. The most common reasons for abortion include but are not limited to, teen pregnancy, rape, and health issues.

In this argumentative essay I would like you, the reader to consider a public issue from my perspective and my belief system on the matter. I’ll be supporting my view on a common and overlooked procedure conducted by women and medical doctors within a walk in clinic and home. This procedure is known as an Abortion, also known as a voluntary abortion. Not only does it kill the innocent life of a child, but it also hurts the teen involved. Abortion is one of the biggest controversial debates in society. Abortion is the termination of a human pregnancy. It can lead to many complications for a lot of people. It can also have long term effects emotionally on the mother, father, and family after the abortion is complete. It is very common today because many young women get pregnant at such a young age and believe that they are not capable of having a child. Abortion has always been a common debate usually based on beliefs of individuals. The debate of whether abortion should be legal or illegal is an argument that is popular among many people to this day, and this is all around the world, for various reasons.

What is your definition on a living thing? The definition of “Living things are organisms that display the key characteristics of life. Babies have these characteristics, they may not have them now but once they grow and develop they will have these things. The Federal Government should outlaw abortions in most cases because abortion deprives American children of its right to life, put’s women’s life at risk, and allows Americans to escape the consequences of their actions.

One of a human's main purposes in life is to procreate. Humans are fortunate enough to have contraceptive methods such as the female and male condom, birth control, IUDs, spermicides, and many others. Occasionally these forms of contraception do not work or they are not used, and this can result in the woman becoming pregnant. On average, there are around 31 abortions per 100 live births. Restricting a woman’s right to terminate a pregnancy can result in some extremely negative impacts on the child's life as well as the woman’s life, such as mental health issues, poor quality of life and a possibility of becoming financially unstable. No one should have the freedom to decide what another woman does with her body or her life other than herself. If abortion were to be made illegal it would result in a poor quality of life for the woman and the child.

In a world of a human population of 7.3 billion people increasing to the point that the world can flood, more than half of the population are arguing on the practice of killing unborn fetuses. There is about growing population of 7.3 billion humans and the United Nations (UN) estimates that the population growth will reach up to 11.2 billion by 2100 (World Population). Also, according to the World Health Organization (WHO), a specialized agency of the UN, reports that between the years of 2010-2014, about 56 million women have induced abortion, but 22 million unsafe abortion were estimated (“Unsafe Abortions”). Abortion is a procedure where people end their pregnancy before birth. Concerning the safety of women and the Earth overpopulating, abortion should be legal in all states.
