I have been very troubled by Donald Trump’s cabinet appointments it seems that he has no concern for what his nominees have done or what they believe in. everyone that didn’t want trump myself included were pretty upset about his election but we have gotten through the 7 stages of grieving and pretty much accepted the fact that he is going to be our president but then he appoints Steve Bannon to his cabinet. Out of all the people you can appoint why the white supremacist? It just show how racists trump truly is he doesn’t care about what’s best for this country he is only looking out for himself and his rich friends. The fact that trump is considering the CEO of Exxon Mobile show that he will let anyone into his cabinet big oil companies like the …show more content…
It’s almost as if every republican would rather deal with trumps crazy ass then to have a democratic president they put up with trump because they want to outlaw gay marriage again, put a stop to abortions and deport everyone that not white trump is just a puppet for the top 1% of this country and this country is so stupid and racists that they voted for his dumbass anyway because if his empty promises. I find it funny that a trump support would justify voting for him because Hilary is bad and they never considered if trump had access to the power Hilary did imagine the bullshit he would have done if he was secretary of state it would have been way worse than anything either Clinton could have done. If Donald trump had held any position in politics he would have never been elected because he would have a history of being a shitty politician but because he had no political experience he used that to his advantage and now we are all fucked. Trump is not the only problem America has that fact that trump even got elected show the many flaws this country has and we should be more worried about whose next because if he can do it anyone
Donald Trump is not doing good as president. Some may still believe he is doing good for our country, but the facts will change their opinion. This argument can be proved based on the facts that are in the news everyday. The news shows articles about him firing multiple people in the white house, his insensitive attitude to important things happening in our country, and him degrading women. People are not happy with Donald Trump’s presidency, and the hatred for Trump continues to grow by his actions.
The passage analyzed in this independent study activity is a speech on immigration delivered by Donald J. Trump in Phoenix on August 31st, 2016. During his speech, Trump clearly asserted his hard-line approach to illegal immigration in United States.
On November 8, 2016 the US election took place. The two front runners, the Democratic nominee Hilary Clinton and the Republican nominee, Donald Trump went neck to neck in the presidential race. On this frightening night, millions of people watched America’s worst nightmare unfold right in front of their own eyes. Donald J. Trump the islamophobic, xenophobic, misogynistic, homophobic, sexist, racist bigot defeated Hilary Clinton and became the 45th President of the United States of America. Donald Trump shouldn’t have even been nominated to run for president.
In 2016 Donald Trump beat Hillary Clinton in the presidential race to become the president of the united states. Including the likes of Zachary Taylor, Ulysses S. Grant, Herbert Hoover, and Dwight D. Eisenhower, Donald Trump is one of five presidents that has never been elected to public office before becoming President. Instead, Donald Trump gained majority of his notoriety for being a businessman, real estate developer, and former reality tv star. During his presidential race, it was clear the Donald Trump would be like no other president. During the elections
According to the information, Arizona has voted Republican for the past 4 years and years past. From the polls taken this year, Trump has more support but has not gained majority. According to the current real politics poll results, the margin of error could go either way for three out of four polls. Out of nine representatives, five are Republican, their two senators are both republican, and their state governor, is republican. In the graph of racial/ethnic breakdown of state population, over 50% of Arizona’s population is white alone. Trump has been offensive to others, so we can conclude that the 44.2% of the population will most likely not vote for Trump. But, this is still leaving a majority of the population who may vote for Trump. For
Trump sparked great controversy after he passed a travel ban which banned people from seven different Muslim majority countries, and put a hold on the refugee program indefinitely. Unfortunately, Trumps grace upon this wonderful country of ours was put on hold when a judge transgressed his boundaries and deemed the act unconstitutional. Refugees have been a problem to the world for the past decade or so, and have caused hardship to many people across the world, putting stress on the many different governments and the citizens of them. For too long, we the world, are stripped of our happiness and pleasure as we watch these ragged, pathetic beings cling onto what little life they have left like a slaughtered lamb still fighting back although
The 2016 Presidential Election has brought a lot of controversy due to negative statements about not only the United States but as well as other countries specifically focusing on Mexico and the border. Both Presidential Candidates, Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton have both touched on the topic about Mexico and its border. However, Donald Trump has been the one with the negative statements about Mexico, the border, and their people. I am arguing about the lack of reliability of Donald Trump's statements throughout the Presidential Election about Mexico, the border, and their people. Trump had stated that, “Likewise, tremendous infectious disease is pouring across the border. The United States has become a dumping ground for Mexico and, in
I cannot even imagine how many people will be hurt and how many more clashes between Trump supporters and Trump protestors will occur if he does receive the nomination. Trump is disrespectful to women, members of the LGBTQ community, and of minorities. Yet, Trump is worshipped by those who he has brainwashed through his insane antics. Nearly every word he utters is offensive or hurtful, and I never hear him speak of how he will “make American great again”, except by building a wall between the United States and Mexico. Some may argue that “he’s not afraid to say what people are thinking”, but the people he are supposedly speaking for aren’t even thinking at
In “A Rebel, a Warrior and a Race Fiend” (2017), Charles Blow affirms that Donald Trump is not on the side of the country; he is allied with the white supremacists, white nationalists racists, and the hostiles. Blow intensifies his initial claim by referencing the National Anthem and the NFL kneeling controversy, and then stating his opinion on the situation and Trump’s actions toward it. He does this in order to reveal the true nature of what Trump is doing to the country, “With every passing day, Trump diminishes the office of the presidency and elevates a virulent strain of racial animus.” Blow is indubitably addressing the entire public because he opens and closes the article with two very blatantly negative statements against Donald Trump;
I would vote for Donald Trump because the wants to strengthen our military, cut-taxes the right way, and upholds our 2nd amendment. Trump also has a strong business background which will aid him in running our country. There are many more things that I agree with trump on, but the three topics listed at the beginning are the main reasons I support trump.
This is truly serious, folks. The arguments equating Trump with Clinton are spurious at best. Clinton is disliked, but a huge amount of that sentiment is based on feelings, conjecture, rumor, intuition, sexism, and conspiracy theories. Donald Trump is a demagogue by definition (a political leader who seeks support by appealing to popular desires and prejudices rather than by using rational argument), who must not only be defeated but absolutely repudiated. Clinton is a highly qualified statesman whose policies are rational and pragmatic. Many of her positions are opposed by the right; that is appropriate (I am a Democrat who voted for Reagan for re-election), and it will create dialogue and compromise. There is no compromise with Trump, even
The fact that America allowed Donald Trump the power to destroy us all is sickening. He has his hands on our nuclear launch codes, He can remove immigrants from our country, the LBGT community rights will be gone, and all of the minorities that live in the US life is in danger because this man has the power to try and end all the hard work we did. I can't believe the American people who voted for Trump are now allowing a racist, sexist, homophobic, and sexual assaulter the power over our once great nation. Do the people who voted for Trump really believe other countries are going to respect a puppet. We're always talking this big game about how America is the best country in the world and we act like we are better than every country. Well you
Of course, nobody just voted for Donald Trump because of his crazy hair or face. Donald Trump made plans for the country and some people liked them. However, the rest of the country thought differently. Trump promised as https://www.nytimes.com/ states,” his promise to build a wall on the United States-Mexico border and to deport millions of immigrants in the country illegally” Although some people was pleased with Donald Trump’s plans, other people disliked his plans. As a result, people are on the streets protesting in many cities, including Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, and Boston. http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/ states, “ Police in riot gear struggled to hold back
In conclusion, Donald Trump is both charismatic and holds himself in high esteem, he is eager to explain how exceptionally well he did in the election and does this in great length in his speeches. He even has a framed map of the 2016 election results displayed in the White House (Lozada, 2017). In his recent speech in Poland, Trump made reference to the ‘West’ ten times. Beinart (2017) argues that in this context the West is not a geographical term, but a racial and religious one. Trump is unlike his predecessors, who acknowledged that democracy and capitalism were not Western, but the universal aspiration of humankind. Previous leaders of the US discussed globalisation as a process where America improved the world. However, Trump describes globalisation as a process by which the world cheats, weakens and threatens America. His words, ‘The fundamental question of our time is whether the West has the will to survive’ (Trump, 2017), only makes sense if non-white, non-Christians are seen as invaders. Thus, this implies that anyone in America who is non-white and non-Christian is a threat. Trump, by describing that being Western is the essence to the US’s identity, is defining the US to be in opposition to many of its own people.
Donald Trump was elected president of the United States of America on November 8th, 2016, and now has been running our country for over a year. As Trump’s first year in office slowly began, his reputation seems to be creating different outside views of our nation and arguments started producing everywhere. After competing with Hillary Clinton for the presidential term in office, Trump defeated her along with her democratic supporters causing one of the most shocking elections in U.S. history. Using public media web pages, we are reviewing both sides of the argument regarding Trump’s election and we are going to decipher why each arguer supports their side, and why each side is reasonable for the benefit of our country.
