ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE FOR SPEECH RECOGNITION
THE FUTURE OF HUMAN EVOLUTION
ABSTRACT: When you dial the telephone number of a big company, you are likely to hear the sonorous voice of a cultured lady who responds to your call with great courtesy saying “welcome to company X. Please give me the extension number you want” .You pronounces the extension number, your name, and the name of the person you want to contact. If the called person accepts the call, the connection is given quickly. This is artificial intelligence where an automatic call-handling system is used without employing any telephone operator. Artificial Intelligence (AI) involves two basic ideas. First, it involves studying the thought processes of human beings. Second, it

Inevitably Artificial Intelligence has, and will continue to affecting our lives. Artificial Intelligence (AI) Effort to develop computer-based systems: that behave like humans: learn languages accomplish physical tasks use a perceptual apparatus With the development of practical techniques based on AI research, advocates of AI have argued that opponents of AI have repeatedly changed their position on tasks such as computer chess or speech recognition that were previously regarded as "intelligent" in order to deny the accomplishments of AI. They point out that this moving of the goalposts effectively defines "intelligence" as "whatever humans can do that machines cannot". A speech recognition system is a type of software that allows the user to have their spoken words converted into written text in a computer application such as a word processor or spreadsheet. The computer can also be controlled by the use of spoken commands. Speech recognition software can be installed on a personal computer of appropriate specification. The user speaks into a microphone (a headphone microphone is usually supplied with the product). The software generally requires an initial training and enrolment process in order to teach the software to recognize the voice of the user. A voice profile is then produced that is unique to that individual. This procedure also helps the user to learn how to speak to a computer.

Artificial Intelligence is the taking over of machines to do tasks that would normally require a human to do. The idea of artificial intelligence has been around for years, appearing in movies and television shows to show what the future might bring. Artificial intelligence is becoming closer to a reality and now society must question if it should have a role in society. Artificial intelligence has many flaws at the moment making it impractical for use until society can address the issues facing it like the loss of jobs and how to control the use of AI.
When someone brings up the term “artificial intelligence”, a variety of connotations tend to arise, connotations that often are unfair or unrepresentative of the true real-world applications of such a term. Due to the incidentally fear-mongering nature of the media, artificial intelligence can refer to something as basic as a robotic arm in a factory, as well as the implied extinction and/or enslavement of the human race as caused by robo-revolution. As of today, however, when applied in the world of modern technology, artificial intelligence is defined as any innovation that performs a task usually completed by humans. Of course, with this definition, artificial intelligence holds the potential for both societal harm and benefit, and its fate
What is Artificial Intelligence or AI? Why people are so concerned about its impact on the human job market and what is the hype about AI? To describe AI in basic terms, it is a branch of Computer Science which is concerned with the study and creation of computer systems. AI refers to “machines that respond to simulation consistent with traditional responses from humans, given the human capacity for contemplation, judgment and intention. It
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is the branch of computer science, which concentrates on the intelligence of machines, and involves applying the principles of reasoning, knowledge planning, learning, communication, perception, and controlling objects to emulate the human brain. The most recognizable AI application is robotics from Hollywood cinema, and includes films such as; I Robot, Transformers, Wall-e, WarGames, A.I., The Terminator, Robocop, Iron Man, and Star Wars to name a few, which is fictional not an actual representation of AI. Robotics applications is only one of three aspects of AI, which also includes
Artificial intelligence pertains to the ability of digital computers or computer-controlled robots to perform tasks commonly associated with intelligent beings, such as humans. Since the mid-20th century, scientists have attempted to develop a system capable of carrying out tasks perceived as requiring human intelligence which includes natural language understanding, fault diagnosis, and supplying expert advice ("Artificial Intelligence(ai)," 2011, n.p.). Although many people, particularly workers within the , are concerned about the effects of artificial intelligence, the capabilities of these machines can benefit society in a multitude of ways ("Artificial Intelligence(ai)," 2011, n.p.). According to Obama, in a speech in Pittsburgh during the 2011 the Robotics Initiative, “Revolutions in technology have transformed the way we live and the way we work,” (Executive Office, 2016). This is in fact true since AI has already begun to have reaping major benefits to the public in fields as diverse as health care, criminal justice, and also the education of individuals which will ultimately revolutionize society (Executive Office, 2016).
Digital artificial intelligence technology has begun to have significant transformation around the world. Current business automations and procedures will soon be a thing of the past. In a few years, smart machinery will change history overtime. Data innovation, roboticist, automation, and additionally machinery will unleash the potential for more profitable and efficient methods for working methods in the near future. Technology and machinery continues to develop which will help people carry out their employments better, quicker and more effect. The author’s diction in the article is technical and informative. The intended audience would be for individuals of the information technology jargon or companies and organizations looking to advance
The purpose of this paper is to bring to light a fresh new perspective of Artificial Intelligence or simply (AI). There have been numerous endeavours to make artificial intelligence which is inclusive of frontiers such as neural network, evolution theory, and so forth, not forgetting that a number of current issues have found solutions in the application of these concepts, the case still remains that each theory only covers a certain isolated aspect of human intelligence. To date, he gap that stands between a human being and an artificial intelligence agent still remains unabridged. In this paper an extrapolated version of artificial intelligence shall be discussed which will be augmented by emotions and the plausibility of inheriting a neural architecture from one generation to the next in a bid to make artificial intelligence to compare to the natural behaviour and intelligence of human
For those who do not know, artificial intelligence is exactly what is called, an "intelligence" through a computer that is artificially created by humans. A.I. is defined to be able to learn and use the information it learns to produce "thoughts" of its own, almost as if it were a thinking human. Though many may believe A.I. is just a robot which is able to speak and understand humans, it is much more than that. A.I. technologies are being implemented in smartphones, homes, cars, watches, headphones, and is also being developed to work in many more ways that help give humanity an easier life.
Artificial intelligence is the development of a computer system that is able to perform tasks of human intelligence like visual perception, speech recognition, and decision-making. Computer scientists have made a substantial advancement in the
The first step in getting anywhere with this debate must begin with defining what artificial intelligence is exactly. Artificial Intelligence, also known as AI, is the area of computer science focusing on creating machines that can engage in the human behaviors of intelligence.
The concept of artificial intelligence was first labeled by a man named Alan Turing in 1950, he believed that the future would hold the possibility for man to communicate with computers and sustain a conversation (Atkinson, Solar 1). Although, we have reached the point where it is possible to hold a simple preprogrammed conversation with a computer and give them the ability to learn, there is still a long way to go in making computers fully artificially intelligent. Atkinson and Solar continue to describe some real world applications of artificial intelligence such as, “Data mining technologies, fraud detection, and industrial-strength optimization” (8). In these examples, forms of artificial intelligence like cognitive reasoning abilities are already being used making the demand for them higher.
Nowadays, computer systems play a major role in our lives. They are used everywhere beginning with homes, offices, restaurants, gas stations, and so on. Nonetheless, for some, computers still represent the machine they will never know how to use. Communicating with a computer is done using a keyboard or a mouse, devices many people are not comfortable using. Speech recognition solves this problem and destroys the boundaries between humans and computers. Using a computer will be as easy as talking with your friend.
Artificial intelligence, or AI, is a field of computer science that attempts to simulate characteristics of human intelligence or senses. These include learning, reasoning, and adapting. This field studies the designs of intelligent
Where artificial means not real or natural and by intelligence means the ability to reason, to trigger new thoughts, to perceive and learn intelligence is. Artificial intelligence can be defined that area of computer science that mainly focus on the making on such kind of intelligent machines that work and give reaction same like human beings. It is combination of many activities which includes for designing the artificial in computers that are like- recognizing the speech, Learning, Planning, solving the problem. In other words it can be defined as programming such machines which can think and act with some level of human intelligence is known as artificial intelligence. In 1956, john McCarthy used the term artificial intelligence. So artificial intelligence can be defined as making computer programs to solve complex problems same like as human solve the problems. So it is also divided into two parts one is to solving the complex problem by the machine and second is same like human beings. The term artificial intelligence is also used to describe a property of machines or programs: the intelligence that the system demonstrates. Artificial Intelligence is combination of science and engineering for making the machines which behaves in intelligent manner. In it many fields are combined like philosophy, psychology, and computer science
Speech recognition (also known as automatic speech recognition or computer speech recognition) converts spoken words to text. The term "voice recognition" is sometimes used to refer to recognition systems that must be trained to a particular speaker—as is the case for most desktop recognition software. Recognizing the speaker can simplify the task of translating speech.
