Language: Babies can learn language by hearing it, the babies will make sounds in all languages until 6 months.But, they will recognize their language by the surrounding and they start to react to it. Movement: When infants are born, the brain will control the movements of the body and it starts to move from head to neck, arm, and trunk and by 6-12 months muscles of trunk & legs will move. At this stage they like to move, crawl, stand & walk, it is by the development of the brain.
Learning: Babies at this stage start to learn many things from the surroundings by making experiments on the toys, objects, etc. to learn about the physical and social environment.

From birth a baby can only lie on its back, by the end of 3months they start to lift their heads and kick their feet. At 3-6 months they can hold objects and transfer them from one hand to another. They also start to attempt to put objects in their mouths. At 9-12 months babies usually become more mobile by rolling, shuffling, or crawling. They can generally sit unaided for a length of time.
Infancy is the state or period of early childhood or babyhood during infancy an infant body goes through a lot of changes the first year. I believe that infancy is an important time of development in a person's life of a person life because it can affect the rest of that person entire life. Development is a progression of steps if one step is incomplete it hampers the progress of the next step. It develops different classes during this stage such as sensory, motor, social, and language. Within moments of being born the newborn's systems for breathing, eating, eliminating, and regulating body temperature are functional and ready to take over at the time of birth. However, because these systems are still quite immature the infant remains completely dependent on adults for survival. You also have to be very careful with baby during this stage because a lot of health issues can occur especially if the baby is not properly cared for.
Basic skills are mastered during this time period such as crying, reacting to images and objects with simplistic words.
Another important factor of an infant’s development is their cognitive development. Cognition is the mental action or process of acquiring knowledge and understanding through thought, experience, and the senses. The infant’s cognitive development can be assessed through measuring the five senses (Groark, McCarthy & Kirk, 2014). The baby’s senses start to develop in the womb and get better as they develop.
At this time the infant uses natural reflexes that they were born with such as, sucking and rooting. In which they understand the environment purely on these actions.
How is language acquired? Could it be an intuitive process or is it a natural understanding for the language? It appears that by talking to your infant from the day he or she is born is the beginning. From birth to around nine months a infant should understand simple words and commands. A baby learns language in one way by hearing their parents or caregivers talking with them on a daily basis. I personally believe an infant understands more than they can speak just as some adults who may have limited abilities in speaking a different language and expressing their point of view they understand it but they cannot express it in words.
