Every place has its own unique characteristics that offers its visitors new experiences. The most common reasons why a certain tourist attraction is so popular is because of its cuisine, sports, recreation activities, architecture, or its amusement parks. What makes a place attractive to me are its cuisine, architecture, and it sports teams and tournaments. There many places that have these qualifications, but one place pops out more than the rest. Of all the famous tourist attractions, I would be pleased to travel to Barcelona, Spain. One of the main reasons why Barcelona would catch my eye would be because of its tasteful architecture. The architecture that fits in my definition of “tasteful” would be the Antoni Gaudi’s edifices. His …show more content…
There are a variety of non-American foods that excites my taste buds, such as suquet de peix and zarzuela, a stew that combines an extraordinarily wide range of Mediterranean fish. One of the most popular dishes in Barcelona are inexpensive sardines that are grilled to perfection, a seafood that can be easily chewed as my tongue absorbs its lemony/salty flavor. Another popular dish is "Fideuà", noodles made with seafood cooked in fish broth. It is considered to be an appropriate dish in warm weather. The fact that this country is home to sports teams and international tournaments is another reason why I am eager to smell its air. Futbol Club Barcelona, also known as Barça, is a professional football club, that is the symbol of Catalan culture and Catalanism, hence the motto "Més que un club". Unbelievably, this team is the second most valuable sports team in the world, worth $3.16 billion. In conclusion, Barcelona, Spain is a destination I would be pleased to visit. Barcelona’s cuisine feature varieties of non-American dishes that are very attractive. Also, the architecture is a splendid feature of Barcelona that consists of a variety of designs. Finally, Barcelona’s sports teams and international tournaments are rather traditional, and inspiring. Overall, I would like to visit Barcelona because of its tasteful architecture, fine cuisine, and its valuable sports

Imagine walking around in the beautiful city of Spain, examining and analyzing the tall, worn out structure of stones and broken buildings. Well, these fragmented edifices are called ruins. Spain is a wonderful country to visit because it contains many histories and offers plenty of things to see and do. The ancient buildings, aqueducts, and other leftovers from over one hundred years ago enable others to know so much more about Spain’s past. You can also learn about the culture by visiting Toledo, Spain.
Sure, many of people mainly visit Spain to visit the big cites of Barcelona and Madrid, but I can personally assure you that there is so much more to explore. Running bulls, flamenco dancers, museums, Ibiza, Sagrada Familia, and Alhambra. The list goes on and on about the different places that an individual can experience whilst out there exploring the world. Let’s not forget the mouth-watering food too, one of which is by far the most popular dish that comes from Spain, and many fan-favorites, paella (a rice dish prepared with seafood). To further drive you to Spain, I’d like to address this. According to an article, “Why Take the Time to Visit the Alhambra in Spain?” it boldly states, “The ancient buildings, aqueducts, and other leftovers from hundreds of years ago offer amazing opportunities for tourists who take the time to visit them.” This is self-explanatory, if you would only take the time to really push and learn about the background of Spain, you will have the most amazing experience
Even though there are many differences and similarities between living in Spain and the US and clichés from both countries, living in the U.S has been great i love it down here maybe because it's all i know but also i think it would be awesome to visit spain just to meet different people and hear the way they speak and adapt to their lifestyles and just not do research on the differences, but to actually live them for

The Spanish built an elaborate empire in the Americas, covering the whole western-coast of South America, all of Central America, the Caribbean, Mexico, and parts of the United States, including New Mexico and Florida. As one of the countries we examined to place a Dunkin’ Donuts, was Portugal. Portugal was founded as a republic in 1910 after a revolution had taken place. Since then Portugal has become a part of the National American Treaty Organization, the United Nations, and the European Union. They are still a 3 branch Republic with both a President and Prime Minister, where they have a Parliamentary Particracy government system. Here in this type of government one or more political parties will lead the government rather than residents and/or elected officials. A party is voted upon by the people of Portugal and the winning party will then appoint all leadership. Portugal has been portrayed as a very stable country in recent years. In an article

My interest in going to Spain is because I traveled there for a week during my senior year of high school and fell in love with the country and the city of Barcelona. From the local’s laid-back view of time with their Siestas, their way of taking to the time to enjoy the little things in life, and the perfect weather, it wasn’t hard to fall in love with the place. I am a huge soccer fan and Spain has two of the greatest teams in the world with the wildest fan base in the world. I remember my brother telling me he got chills running down his spin the first time he went to a FC Barcelona home game, he told me it was one of the greatest experiences he ever had. Another reason why I feel Spain would
I would like to go to Italy. Italy is located in southern Europe. Its capital is called Rome and it is one of the oldest cities in the world. Italy is a beautiful country famous for its architecture and art. Many artists lived and created there, for example Leonardo di Vinci and Michelangelo. It has a lot of museums and art galleries. Italy is also famous for its delicious cuisine. Pizza and pasta are famous all over the world. Italy has large vineyards and produces good quality wines. I also want to go there because its weather is warm and the nature is really beautiful: mountains, plains, islands and azure sea. My friends went there last summer for holidays and enjoyed it a lot.
