1.) I was walking down the street that I live on and saw that. There was a broken window out of the yellow Cadillac. Inside was a poisoned drink with and purse with $100 in it. I called the cops immediately and reported the window and everything else. I was asked a few questions then sent home by a investigator. 2.) I was cleaning up after a dress up party my friends had and I found a single glove with a blonde wig beside it. The glove and wig belonged to the mannequin with the tube of lipstick. I put the glove and wig back on the mannequin and turned to walk away. When I started to leave I heard a noise I spun around and the wig and glove was on the floor, and the mannequin was gone. I called the store owner and reported it missing.
The remarks on call stated that last night Kristy lost her rings at the candy store, strip club. Upon arrival, i talked to Kristy who told me the following: last night approximately 2300 hours, she went to the candy store with her husband. Kristy remembers showing her both rings to the couple who was sitting next to them. Kristy was drinking that night, and she does not remember how she lost her rings. Kristy told me she never takes off her rings. Kristy said on 03/03/17 at approximately 0800 hours, when she woke up she realized that she is not wearing her rings. Kristy said she checked everywhere in the house and even called the candy store and they did not found her rings. Kristy told me the wedding ring cost $70000 and the other ring cost $1500. She said she had insurance on the wedding ring and she already called the insurance company. Kristy emailed me the picture of the rings, and i impounded pictures as evidence. After i had talked to Kristy, i spoke with her husband John who told me the following: he does not remember how she lost her rings, but he was sure that she was wearing the rings when she was at the candy store. i gave Kristy the report number and my name and my serial number. This concludes the involvement in this investigation.
Overall, I received an A on my research proposal and my professor thought that I did a great job. However, if my professor was to give me feedback and ask me if I were to implement social forces into my paper to make it better I would use Sexual orientation and Social class. Inmate-on-inmate sexual coercion is an unexplored topic within correctional facilities, especially concerning female inmates: Women prisoners may often face challenges that can affect their health. Sexual orientation can be viewed as a factor in prisons that has an effect on women's health issues. To be specific, I believe women are more prone to become bisexual or lesbians within a prison because they are placed in an environment where the likelihood of being raped or
On Friday, August 15, 2016 at approximately 1010 hours, I responded to Econo Lodge, 1350 Dogwood Drive in reference to a physical altercation. The complainant/victim Kaiesha Winston stated she beaten up and her belonging were taken in room 108.
Upon entering Journalism class on Monday, I was met with a pleasant surprise: the room looked completely different. The four rectangle tables, usually in a row, were laid out in an unusual fashion. Two of them were pushed together in the center of the room to form a square, and the other two were on opposite sides of the room: one under the window and the other a few feet away from the far wall. Our coats and backpacks were piled on the wall side of the table, and on the table were wads of tan Wal-Mart bags. Covering half of the center table was a blue and red floral patterned art tablecloth, and on the other was a green birthday one. A scrap of red tablecloth was thrown on an uncovered corner. Three tin foil deep dish baking pans were arrayed on the table interspersed with salt and baking soda containers, stacks of miniature plastic cups, a roll of paper towels, a freezer bag box, and four cornish hens sealed in red plastic. A few feet farther, on the table under the window, were sheets of cream-colored muslin stand an inch or so high. On the right, between a package of extra paper towels, a reusable grocery bag, and a Ziploc bag containing a bottle of rubbing alcohol were several latex
The first table that I visited is Massmutual. I selected this table because the lady that was sitting there seemed so nice and the least intimidating. MassMutual is a life insurance company. The offer plans including life insurance, protection products, retirement and investment services to help people meet their financial goal. The biggest learning lesson that I got when I visited that table is that it is essential to go to these career fairs. The lady that was at the table and I had such a good conversation. We spent a good 20 minutes talking about flagstaff, our hobbies, and I even found out that we graduated from the same high school. After we finished our conversation she asked me if I had a resume with me and I said no so she actually
It was on summer 2014 when I first learned the real importance of teamwork and how much I hate heights. On the the fourth day of our backpacking trip at Sierra Nevada, I got to face my fears. We start our day at 8:00 a.m. with a steep hike from Vanderver lake to slap lake, moving constantly and quickly to our destination that was 7 miles all the way up hill. We hiked a long trail for about a mile to later continued on back country; it was a sunny, hot day and the water resources were not enough. Through the whole hike, we knew that we would only encounter a small lake, which would become the water supplier of the group and the camping destination for that night. The group was still having troubles working together, we knew so little about each other and small friends groups were formed and divide
This week I observed the patients staying in the third floor, and I was able to compare their behavior with the children and adolescents. The adult patients were more sociable than the adolescents; therefore, this facilitated my interaction with some of them.
I removed the clothing and separated the black pants and gray jersey type shirt and packaged each separately and submitted them into HCSO Evidence. The remaining articles of clothing were repackaged, with the original packaging inside and resubmitted into HCSO Evidence. I also removed the green backpack from evidence and upon doing so, removed the victim’s personal items from the backpack. The items were given to Detective Parsons, who will return the items to the victim’s parents at a later date. The backpack was also resubmitted into HCSO Evidence.
According to an article some teacher if enough room gives a student two desk on opposites side of the room or allows breaks to walk to the water fountain and back. "Whether or not you agree with this particular strategy, what makes it interesting is that the teacher has attempted to take behavior that is usually disruptive getting out of his desk frequently and turn it into appropriate behavior moving toward his “other desk”(CH.A.D.D.). By doing this it gives the option of moving around in a nondistracting way. it can be known that "teachers can be instructed to seat a student with ADHD at the front of the class, near the teacher so she can keep an eye on him (CH.A.D.D.)." The problem with this strategy is that with the younger students they
During my recent time in the CDC I have seen a lot of things both good and bad. I have visited the Blue, purple and the rainbow room. All of the rooms are different sue to the ages in the children so the disciplinary actions are different. In the blue room, the teacher teaches the children to use their words, that crying Is not the way to get what they want. One day I was in that room and there were two children that were arguing about a toy in the drama center the teacher took both the children aside and asked them who was in the center first, once the question was answered she then asked if it would be okay if the one child was able to play with the toy when he was finish with it. Instead of just yelling at the children for arguing in the
The duration of the experiment lasted 3 days total, 2 consecutive days and 1nonconsecuative day due to weather issues. The data collection of the trays was around 4pm each day and the experiment was conducted in the field on the intersection of Morgan Street and Taylor Street on University of Illinois Campus. The two independent variables being tested were nutritional value of food which was being measured by protein content and where the tray was is being placed outside. The 4 trays come out to be “cover, high protein”, “cover, low protein”, “no cover, high protein”, and “no cover, low protein”. All the supplies needed for the experiment were found in SES 3315. Each group was given 4 trays to use for the duration of the three days. 1.5 liters of dry sand was placed into all 4 trays.
1. It was a nice clear day out in the city, so I decided to go to the local cafe to get a black coffee. As i was walking i decided to take a short cut through an old alley, but halfway through the ally at the corner I happen to stumble upon a murder scene. As I got closer to further investigate the scene, I see the victims were a man and child. The man had no head, for it was laying next to the old metal trashcan that appears to have a dent in it from where his head hit it. The child appeared to be a boy maybe no older then eight or ten, with three bullet holes in his chest spaced very close together. I took a look at the boy and noticed he is barely breathing. I called 911 to report the scene, but as I do a man jumps out from inside a dumpster

Terrified beyond belief as I fall, i hit the carpet with a soft thud, and turn enough to see you stand to your mesmerizing full height, laughing. You turn away, and I can practically hear your footsteps boom as you step to the counter, grab my wallet, and leave, closing the seemingly mile-tall door shut. Alone, in carpet fibers up to my knees, I stay still. You'll come back, right? I wonder.* PRINCESS!!!! *I shout out, and I wait, as the light slowly fades from the room, and all that is left to illuminate your bedroom is the light flooding in from a crack in the door to the bathroom that you absent mindedly left on getting ready to go out. That, and the soft glow of your laptop, up on your computer desk. You were serious. I was alone.*
It has been established that visual privacy and how open it is to the public’s eyes plays a role on the type of activities performed. But there is another factor at play in where and when some activities are done. This factor is what the family considers to be private and public space. Take the basement, for instance. Due to the placement of the windows, it is the second most private place, after the bathrooms. But, in terms of what happens in the basement, it is one of the most public spaces. The basement is where the only television in the house is located. There are two couches and two tables conveniently placed so that viewing is optimal. That makes the basement the de facto entertainment room. Usually by the evening, everyone in the family comes down to the basement to check email, watch a movie, and socialize. By contrast, the fireplace room is used in the afternoon and usually by one person at a time. There is evidence, therefore, that the use of each room is also dependent upon family considerations of privacy.
