Abstract—Now a days Water gets polluted due to increment of marshy field. This project helps to perform variety of tasks, which can be perform on land as well as on water surface. It will be very useful for military applications. It is an vehicle which can travel on different kind of surfaces like flat or rocky land terrains & water. It performs crawling on land surface and performs swimming on water surfaces.
Keywords—amphibious robot; swimming; style; crawling; marshy field
Introduction
There has been significant interest in development of robots capable of autonomous amphibious operations within turbulent ocean surf zones. Robot is a machine that can be controlled by computer which is designed to move, manipulate object and accomplish work while interacting with environment. Robots have been widely used to perform number of tasks which reduces the manual work specifically in remote areas where human accessibility is unimaginable. The main applications where the robots have exhibited their excellence include surveillance, tracking target for military purposes and also for disaster management like searching & rescuing victims. This system deals about evolutionary
The United States Military Academy (USMA) in West Point, New York is viewed as one of the most honorable universities in the America. The Academy graduated its first student in 1802, and thousands there afterward, but it wasn't until 1976 before the first females would be allowed to enter. 1976 was a monumental achievement for women’s rights in that time, but this was something that was being fought for, for 200 years. After fighting for so long to gain this right, the inaugural class still had its work cut out for them.
Task D1.1 – Compare a conventional hydro-mechanical anti-skid unit with a modern hydro-electronic anti-skid unit.
2. I chose this test because I was interested in seeing what I thought about male/female roles.
Recently, oil companies have increased their search for oil in water deeper than 1,500 feet, which is classified as "deep water." While that is where the companies hope to find the largest untapped oil reserves, seeking out and extracting oil there presents unique challenges. For one thing, platforms in deep water cannot sit on legs connected to the sea floor the way they can in shallower areas, so other methods must be used to protect them from strong currents.
i. These vehicles could be used to collect data for climate research, ocean exploration, offshore oil exploration and production and even surveillance of pipelines and telecommunications.
Even in the supposedly opened minded and "PC" time of 2016, the internet is still not the best place to be for a woman. From rape threats on Twitter, public shaming on Facebook, and overall female hate found in the dark corners of the internet, we have a long way to go in terms of gender equality. Despite this, all hope is not lost.
According to High Tide Exploration, ROVs have an “equal or greater depth rating (1,000 feet)” than divers.
Annette Bair and Marilyn Friedman have opposing views on whether women have distinct moral perspectives. Like Friedman, I believe that women have no different moral perspectives than men. Some people, like Bair, think that women base their moral perspectives on merely trust and love and men base theirs on justice. Friedman points out that care and justice coincide . People use justice to decide what is appropriate in caring relationships and care is brought into account when determining what is just. Since these two moral perspectives correspond, gender does not distinguish different moral perspectives.
An often controversial issue within politics is how woman are viewed and treated in the Hindu religion. The role of woman in Hinduism is often disputed and positions range from quite reasonable to highly antagonistic. An often overlooked aspect is that, Hinduism is more of a way of life then a Religion. This is because Hinduism requires that we see the same reality in all the diversity of creation; that we see the same Self in all beings. Hindu women within this religion would view themselves as an important part of the family, but this is not shown through the contents of the Manusmriti. The Manusmriti directly translated is “Laws of Manu,” or “Institutions of Manu,” is regarded as the foundational
Over the past few years I have envisioned myself becoming an engineer. I will connect my passion for education and desire for math and science into one. One day I hope to start up my own school system that is dedicated to help urban city youth learn foreign languages, express themselves through fine arts, while exposing them to the STEM field. It is not common for women to go into the field of engineering. Only 14% of people in engineering are female. My family and friends began to question me on whether this something I really wanted to do, because women in the field engineering is rare, but I tells them thus is just a game of gender and power.
ROVs, or remotely operated vehicles, are a small robot that will swim in the sea .They can go deeper than humans and are smaller two.ROVs can help in many ways like looking at sunken ships and underwater mammals. They can get heat signals from live animals and cold signals from dead ones according
Asian Indian women are subject to social limitations in there culture and are looked at has objects rather than people who can also contribute to society. There are some women in that society that are making great advances for women in that country socially. However, as much advance as they are getting men and mostly spouses are still objectifying them. Women in this culture often experience intimate partner violence. There are about 59% of women who have reported IPV in their relationships. A range of 14% to 20% of these women experience mental trauma and can develop PTSD, which is posttraumatic stress disorder, as well as, depression. Very few women who are abused seek professional help to cope with the depression, PTSD, and abuse. The abuse is likely from a cycle of abuse that has occurred in family relations, so boys seeing fathers treat mothers poorly and then the sons grow up seeing this they apply this to their relationships. Women who have experienced IPV have shown to have lower health qualities. In the United States, enculturation happens to many cultures from other countries. This process can cause there to be more experienced abuse and violence in this culture type. Actually, enculturation is one of the strongest factors of intimate partner violence among Asian Indian couples. Enculturation “values” had a specific and indirect relation with IPV attitudes. Another strong factor is patriarchal gender role attitude also had a positive association with
areas of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics employers are not getting enough women (Pozniak). High school girls only represent 17 percent of computer science Advance Placement (AP) test takers (O'Shea). The most significant group of minorities who are behind in earning computer technology degrees and working in science and mathematical professions are women. “Historically, women’s low representation in science and engineering was said to be due in large part of their lack of ability, interest, or both” (Horning 30). However, this is no longer a true fact according to Ward. Some suggestions to increasing the amount of women in sciences include introducing already present women faculty as mentors. Over the last three decades,
In the 1800’s a women was suppose to have four things Piety, Purity, submissiveness, and domesticity. These principles shaped the “Cult of True Womanhood” an idea that women were to be seen but not heard. Women had no say when it came to politics, they couldn’t own property, they were not allowed to do many jobs, and they couldn’t even speak in front of men. They had the duty to be a mother and raise their children but even thought they had this responsibility it was the husband who had the complete control and guardianship of the children. Because of these ideas it was very difficult for change to happen. When women started to receive more education they began to ask questions about why they were being denied these rights, which began the
Woman’s studies is an interdisciplinary academic field devoted to topics concerning women, gender and feminism; exploring our gender existence, how we perform femininity and masculinity and how this interacts with other aspects of our identities, such as race, ethnicity, socioeconomic status and sexuality. Women’s studies emerged in the late 1960’s and early 1970’s as a concerned women being misrepresentation and trivialization in the higher education curriculum and as well as being excluded from many positions of power authority as colleges faculty and administrators. An example from the “ Women’s Voices /Feminist Vision” book written by Susan M.Shaw Janet lee was “the entire course in English or American literature to include not one
