Whenever I see a car wreck, I recall my wreck several years ago that could have very easily cost me my life. Living through that experience has helped me to value every day more than before and may also be the reason I always feel the need to stop and help those on the roadside. Years later I can see that my family's car wreck was a unique event in my life that changed my perception of life.
I can still hear the quiet dripping of rain when I awoke on the morning before the accident. The sun was barely breaking through my window's blinds with a yellow and gold glow when I opened my eyes. Glancing at the clock, I saw that it was 8am, and my family was going to a church service as was their usual routine. After dragging myself out of bed and dressing the part, I headed to the kitchen to eat. Steaming stacks of chocolate chip pancakes drizzled with hot maple syrup awaited me.
After I had finished eating, I dozed off in the car as I waited for my parents and brother. While I had not stayed up too late to read the night before, I have never been a morning person, so my mind was still foggy when my family entered the car. As we left home, my parents had started arguing about something which held nothing but the promise of a trying day. As we neared the interstate,

I was fearful as the car seemed to be traveling much too fast to be considered safe. As our car passed over the crest of the hill and down towards a left curve, our tires lost traction, and the road became a glass plate. We slid left across the water, hydroplaning as we neared the shoulder. Our tires touched the gravel on the roadside, and our car spun down into the bowl like median with thick trees in our path. The car spun three times, then shuddered as the side was crumpled in by a large pine. The window to my right imploded as crystalline stars filled my vision and the world slowed down, then blacked
I never really thought about the emotional aftermath of a car wreck, that is until last November. A few questions that statement would bring up is “what happened last November?” “How could a car wreck change your emotional outlook?” It is a very simple result that came from a not so simple event.
Auto collisions once in a while end well. Somebody is harmed, costly vehicles are demolished, and more regrettable case situation somebody bites the dust. In a current crash, one individual unfortunately kicked the bucket and two other individuals must be hospitalized after a pile up in the Westwood region on a Tuesday morning.
In this Car Crash Project, we had to make sure we used Newton’s 3 laws. Let me explain you how I used the 3 laws in my project. For my project, I had three main important parts in my car. One of them was the crumple zone because the car is in motion until it hits the yellow which is the outside force. In Newton’s First Law he states that every object stays in motion unless acted upon an outside force. Here the object in motion is the car, and the outside force is the yellow stump. Another main component was the seat belt. The seat belt fell in Newton’s Second Law. In that law, it explains how force equals mass x acceleration. So, When the egg is wearing the seatbelt it will stop the egg from accelerating or being in motion. If it was accelerating
Car dismantlers are not always associated with car service centers or local garages. Many auto wreckers like Auto Wreckers Brampton take wrecked vehicles to a large open field with hundreds of other cars. Workers of these wrecking yards spend much of their time salvaging usable parts for resale. If the wrecked wagon is declared a total loss by the owner's insurance company, an auto wrecking service may assume ownership of the framework. Even if there are few restored parts remaining, the metal can be sold to scrap metal dealers for recycling.
Within a veterinary forensic science textbook issued in 2008, noted that motor vehicle accidents are difficult to differentiate from non-accidental injury due to lack of data on injuries known to be caused by physical abuse. While analyzing passed studies, researchers knew that motor vehicle accidents involving dogs showed that the most common injuries are comprised of long bone fractures, pelvic fractures, soft tissue injuries and lacerations at the extremities, skeletal injuries. In a study conducted by veterinarians in the United Kingdom about non-accidental injuries, found that in the 147 suspected cases of non-accidental injuries in dogs could be misunderstood as motor vehicle accidents, for there was only 1 pelvic fracture, but 21 cases with skull fractures and 23 cases with fractured ribs.
“Good look out there Bill!” yelled my friend Randall. I could hardly hear him over the roar of my plane engine taking off. I gave him the thumbs up and closed my cockpit of my C-117 Skytrain. I knew that what I was doing was one of the most dangerous things to do in the US military. My plane got even louder and started taxing down the runway while other people were directing me. I felt the rush of the plane as he started taking off.
The average vehicle weighs 5,000 pounds. However, an empty semi-truck can weigh over 40,000 pounds. The legal maximum weight of a semi-truck in America is 80,000. Because semi-trucks are much larger than cars, a semi-truck accident can very easily result in devastating injuries.
Motor vehicle crashes (MVCs) are the leading cause of death in US teens, encompassing greater than one in three deaths.1 Based on 2010 data, 2,700 teenagers were killed and 282,000 were treated in Emergency Departments (ED) for injuries sustained in MVCs.1 That equates to approximately seven teens between the ages of 16 and 19 dying daily due to injuries sustained in MVCs. Mile per mile teens aged 16 to 19 are more likely than those aged 20 and older to be involved in a fatal crash.2 People aged 15 to 24 years old encompass approximately 14% of the US population; however, males and females of this age group account for 30% ($19 Billion) and 28% ($7 Billion) of the total costs of injuries due to MVCs, respectively.3

Everything was black, it was dead silent, and I couldn't grasp on to anything. The first words that came into my mind where, "We're going down the hill...". With that thought, I became full of despair and shrieked. I opened my eyes to realize we were upside down and the only way to get out of the car was through the window. I crammed my way through the window and felt raindrops on my hair, face and skin.
“We have to get them out of there!” I heard voices yelling out in the distance, but was to lightheaded to know where they were coming from.
The Columbia Accident is a report based on the very disastrous, but very preventable, misfortune that happened to the space shuttle Columbia. During the shuttle’s reentry to Earth pieces of the shuttle began to shut down and some even coming off entirely, causing the serious malfunctions that led to its disintegration. Because of these technology malfunctions, seven crew members perished and a billion dollar project became a failure. Due to oversight and money hunger corporations, seven lives ended and history repeated itself in a terrible situation.
In “21st Century Car Crash”, Rachel Rubenstein’s self-driving car, a product of Eliva Industries, T-bones Shimon Shalom’s car to avoid killing a jaywalking pedestrian. Mr. Shalom’s Rabbi sends him to the Beit Din to sue for damages, which Ms. Rubenstein is reluctant to pay. She claims that Eli Levine, the owner of Eliva Industries, is at fault. After all, his company’s programming drove the car to turn away from the jaywalker and crash into another car. Ms. Rubenstein says that she would have just slammed on the brakes, had there been a manual override option. Mr. Levine has informed the Beit Din that swerving must have been the safest course of action, or the car wouldn’t have done it. Now the court must decide who, if anyone, is liable
An accident last year changed my attitude towards life . That accident had a great impact on me , it taught me to treasure what i have and to treasure those people around me more . Although the accident was not life threatening , it was still the scariest thing i had ever been through in life . It was an accident that no one would have expected and wanted it to happen .
Life is unpredictable and an accident can happen anytime. on our way back home from church my dad was driving a black 2012 Toyota Highlander, which is a family car that seven people can ride in it. My younger brother, Taw Nay Gay, and I were sitting on the seat behind the driver seat by the door. My other two younger brothers, Gay Nay Soe and Soe K Maw, sat in the seat behind me, and my mom sat in the front passenger seat. For the first time a nineteen year old girl like me started to believe that I had a reason to live and my life could be taken away anytime. This happened on October first 2017, 7:30 pm when we got into a car accident by the traffic lights intersection. Three cars were damaged, but everyone in the cars were fine.
