Personal Statement
No one is going to hand me success. I must go out & get it myself. That’s why I’m here, to dominate, to conquer. Both the world, and myself. — Unknown
I am very excited about entering an MBA program that will allow me to focus on my interest in healthcare management as well as provide me with the career possibilities and exposure to resources. My education and work experience have provided me with an excellent introduction to healthcare, and they have sparked my interest in management. I consider a Carlow MBA to be necessary since I need to gain a broader understanding of management and to sharpen my analytical skills in order to be successful. I develop an understanding of how to apply
Healthcare and healthcare planning are vital in today’s ever-changing world, without education and experience one cannot help patients or make policy changes that benefit all stakeholders. In addition, many people do not understand the ever-changing medical policies and treatment options that are available. Therefore, I am compelled to use my knowledge and education to coordinate healthcare needs of the people in my community. Whether this is managing outpatient care, inpatient care needs or healthcare resources. Therefore, the Marylhurst Healthcare MBA program and all three concentrations will enable me to obtain the skills I need to succeed.
The transition from being a child, dependent upon parents for everything, to an independent adult is one of the most stressful times a person will endure. Legally speaking, 18 is the age when you become an adult but the number doesn’t describe the responsibilities and independence you must take on. College is seen as the “big step” into the real world and many people struggle in choosing where to make their transition. I would like to take my “big step” by attending Florida Atlantic University.
The school provides professors who have real life experience in the healthcare industry so that students can not only learn what the textbook teaches, but also how to deal with real life situations that people have gone through. It is equipped with all the tools I need to make a positive impact on the world. With the healthcare industry constantly changing and constantly growing, it’s critical that students like me learn how to adapt to these changes. The Bloustein School provides all the resources necessary to keep up with the dynamic nature of healthcare. After receiving my bachelor’s degree in Health Administration, I am interested in getting an MBA in Healthcare Management. With all the resources that The Bloustein School has to offer, it will give me the foundation that I need in order to further my education, achieve my goals, and demonstrate the commitment and ambition needed to create a healthier world that is affordable for
As a transfer student, I want to feel California State University, Fullerton (CSUF) such as my home. Being ambassador, it is the best to learn about my school, share my experiences, motivate other students to work towards their goals, look for help if they need, show other students our school's resources, and make others feel special for being part of CSUF.
Before I answer the questions posed, I believe an explanation is owed regarding this request for admission into Saybrook. I originally applied to The Chicago School of Professional Psychology seeking a degree in business psychology. Since the program was not ready to start for another year, it was suggested that I take courses in the international psychology program. I thoroughly enjoyed this new experience with an opportunity to “think global”. I optioned to remain in this program with a concentration in organizations and systems. As I sojourned through, I was always aware that there was still something missing. Although I loved being part of the IP program, my roots are deeply entrenched in the world of organizational development (OD).
By obtaining a degree in Healthcare Management I will develop a set of skills that will increase my knowledge in healthcare overall and contribute to the growth of Bioscrip in meeting its goals. To name a few of these skills I will possess is management , finance, accounting, healthcare systems in being able to incorporate document management procedures and techniques, as well as risk management. These skills will be applied in areas of Bioscrip such as Intake, Reimbursement and Finance.
Man must pave their own way to success using the tools they are given throughout their life, and man is told time and time again it isn’t going to be easy.

Since the inauguration of my health care career at Keck Medicine of USC, I knew there would be no other academic institution that could better prepare me to excel at becoming a leader amongst the health care community. I have inquired with multiple USC hospital employees about the EMHA program, and all have spoken with high regards that USC offers an excellent healthcare administration master’s degree. I hope to be challenged intellectually while developing leadership skills necessary to mature into a successful leader. My work experience has prepared me to undertake the challenges that would be associated with remaining a full time employee at USC while pursuing an Executive Master of Health Administration.

My choice to attend FIU was one of the easier ones I’ve made so far in my academic career. I was drawn to the university as I felt a sense of community here that has only been further enhanced as a legacy, with both my mother and stepfather having completed their Bachelor degrees at this institution. The relationships and connections my parents were able to build here were a testament to FIU’s ability to bring together people from so many different backgrounds and create a family. I experienced an even greater connection as my stepfather found a lifelong friendship and mentor in an FIU staff member and honored him by making him the godfather of one of my younger brothers. Thus, FIU has been a special part of my life even before college was
A year and half has passed since I’ve completed my undergraduate degree. In this time, I’ve had a chance to reflect on my career goals. I am now ready to earn my MBA in health care management. With this degree, I will be able to accomplish my career goals and objectives. I plan to use my master 's degree to help me pursue a career in health care management. My career goal is to become a health care manager in one of my area hospitals. I’ve research the strategies needed to successfully complete a MBA program. I’m motived and fully prepared to start working on my MBA. I ecstatic to embark on this new journey
The vision that I have for my future and career is a positive one. I started my MBA program at GCU with a positive attitude, determination to stay in the program and complete it successfully. My desire and vision after I complete my program is to take up a new challenge of starting my own small business in the area of non-medical Care Giving Services. This business will give me a great deal of opportunities to utilize all that I’ve learnt throughout my program. Through the small business that I’m looking to set up, I will have the opportunity to offer quality Care Giving Services to clients who have disabilities of one form or another. Not all clients get the quality care that they deserve in the care giving business, so I will focus on rendering loving and compassionate care that will make life easier for our clients. The services rendered and our core values will be in the best interest of the clients.
I will be applying for academic renewal at the end of the of this semester for my Math 27 class, in which I recieved a D. I would also like to state that I was changing medications at this time, which my doctors, family and I believe played a role in my performance. My struggles have caused me great anxiety, and I plan to take Math 15 next semester--overcoming my fears; I am excited to excel in Statistics next Spring.
No one can get success without having the trust of people on his capabilities because without that he won’t be able to gain enough confidence to take desired actions without the fear of being rejected. Lastly, he must take some steps in order to prove him a leader and also to make him realize his very own potential (Jim Murray).
