D-Mart full time shifts are of 9 hours including half hour break and part time shifts of (4-5 hours depending on store needs) which includes 15 minutes break. All the breaks in India are included in working hours as there are monthly wages and not hourly wages. For this report I have chosen Canada’s Dollarama and India’s D-Mart as both company have same target market. Dollarama is Canada’s leading dollar store with 900 locations across Canada. Larry Rossy, a third generation retailer, founded the company in 1992. The first Dollarama store opened in April 1992, in a shopping center "Les promenades du St-Laurent" in Matane, Quebec. The products sold are in single or multiple pieces at selected price point of not more than $3. The company aims to provide customers with a consistent

A question I forgot to ask during the interview is: what a typical evening shift will look like?
Full-Time 9-Hour and 8-Hour Workday Employees: For each holiday, full-time 9-hour and 8-hour employees receive holiday pay for the number of hours they are regularly scheduled to work. When a holiday occurs on the employee's day off, the employee receives 8 hours of holiday pay or 8 hours of compensatory time.
In the medical field, residents’ work hours were reduced down to 80 hours per week in 2003, and the ACGME is still proposing further restrictions. Outside of the medical field, truck drivers are limited to solely eleven hours of driving, given a ten-hour break; along with railroad workers, who must also take a ten-hour break before starting a shift. Another time demanding profession is aviation, in which their administration allows pilots to fly only sixteen consecutive hours, and if a flight delay were to extend that pilot’s shift, then they must switch (Townsend & Anderson, 2013). It is said that the IOM only limits nurses to work twelve hours in a twenty-four hour period, although it is not implemented very well and there is research to prove it.
I understand your need for the weekend, overnight and 12 hours shift. I neglected to mention during my interview that
Each morning, the PHF team starts off the morning with a meeting to share client updates from the Night (Noc) shift to the Day shift. I’ve caught on to the process and can follow most of what is transpiring. On Wednesday, I shadowed Erick, a Service Coordinator, for the day. I was given paperwork to drop off and learned my way around the courthouse. In the afternoon, I sat in on an Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) meeting to discuss the future placement of one of the clients.
Each shift in each day, the productivity hours change according to the personals and seniors. In
