The most common sign and symptom of breast cancer are lumps or mass. Breast cancers can be tender, soft, or rounded, and can even be painful. Also there can be: swelling of part or all of the breast, skin irritation or dimpling, breast or nipple pain, nipple retraction (turning inward), redness, scaliness, thickening of the nipple or breast skin, and nipple discharge (other than breast milk).

There are no symptoms at the early stages of breast cancer which makes early detection even more difficult. When tumors become large there is an obvious breast mass which is mostly not painful. Symptoms of breast cancer include breast thickening, skin irritation, tenderness, swelling, breast scales, distortion, redness tenderness, nipple retraction and ulceration, There may also be abnormal discharge.

There are many different types of breast cancer, different stages and different variations of the disease but I am going to focus on Malignant Breast Cancer. Breast Cancer is made up of glands also known as lubes. In a women breast the small tubes (lobules) carry milk to the nipples (ducts) . Breast cancer begins in the cells that are in the in the ducts. It can also start in other cells of the breast tissues. There is a pathway in the breast called lymph. Lymph causes the cancer to spread throughout the breast. The vessels that carry clear fluid instead of blood connect lymph.

Most of the time most women or men don't know they have breast cancer. It is good to know your shape and size of your breast. So that when you feel something out of ordinary or wrong. When BRCA1 and BRCA2 is mutated, or altered , such that its protein produced either is not made or doesn’t function correctly, DNA damage might no be repaired properly. When you have breast cancer you can also be at risk of lots of other cancers. The process of BRCA1 and BRCA2 usually happens when you are young because than there is nonhereditary counterparts. However BRCA1 and BRCA2 can be harmful when mutated from either your mother or your father. And as for women when the harmful in BRCA1 or BRCA2 is mutated, their risk of cancer increases greatly. Almost 12 percent of women in the general population will develop breast cancer sometimes in their lives. BRCA1 accrues to women at a younger age and the BRCA2 accrues later in life mostly when you are about 70 years old
