The vessels that carry clear fluid instead of blood connect lymph.

Most breast cancer is unnoticeable in the early stages because it does not cause the person pain. “As the cancer progresses, signs and symptoms can include a lump or thickening in or near the breast; a change in the size or shape of the breast; nipple discharge, tenderness, or retraction (turning inward); and skin irritation or dimpling” (the U.S. National Library of Medicine, 2015). “Sometimes breast cancer can spread to lymph nodes under the arm or around the collar bone, even before the original tumor in the breast tissue is large enough to be felt ” (American Cancer Society, 2015). Breast cancer is an extremely common disease, affecting about 12% of women in the United States. That’s why The American Cancer Society recommends that all women get their regular mammograms every year after age 40. On top of that, women are taught to look out for any unusual lumps or bumps. That way, they can notify their doctors right away and try to catch any suspected breast cancers early. Did you know that besides an obvious lump or mass, there are other signs of breast cancer that are more subtle? Here, we share some more subtle signs of breast cancer that all women should be aware of.
Even today, scientists are still unsure about all the factors that cause Breast Cancer. So that is why research continues to be done to find reasons as to why it is being developed and different ways to prevent it. They have discovered that breast cancer can be affected by both environmental and genetic factors. In addition to that, doctors do know that there are a few specific gene mutations that exist that are linked to Breast Cancer. Mutated genes can be acquired through life and some of these genes can create Breast Cancer. Some other common causes are the regular consumption of alcohol, the regular smoking of cigarettes, and being very overweight. Being exposed to the hormone estrogen for longer amounts of time is also very common in the development of Breast Cancer. This happens when menstruation lasts after the age of 50 and starts before the age of 12. Some doctors also believe that irradiation in the chest due to previous issues and treatments can also lead to cancer.
Breast cancer is a disorder that mostly happens to women, as for men it is very rare. BRCA1 and BRCA2 work as DNA but when they are not replaced correctly it can lead to cancer. When BRCA1 and BRCA2 is mutated, or altered , such that its protein produced either is not made or doesn’t function correctly, DNA damage might no be repaired properly. When you have breast cancer you can also be at risk of lots of other cancers. The process of BRCA1 and BRCA2 usually happens when you are young because than there is nonhereditary counterparts. However BRCA1 and BRCA2 can be harmful when mutated from either your mother or your father. And as for women when the harmful in BRCA1 or BRCA2 is mutated, their risk of cancer increases greatly. Almost 12 percent of women in the general population will develop breast cancer sometimes in their lives. BRCA1 accrues to women at a younger age and the BRCA2 accrues later in life mostly when you are about 70 years old
