Worldview is defined as the concept of how one envisions the reality. It is the framework of ideas concerning the world, humans, and life in general. The concept of worldview tends to describe a comprehensive set of beliefs which govern people’s perception of the world. There are some worldview questions that seek to determine the origin of man, the existence of God and much more.
There are various explanations which different people have relating to the question of man’s origin and existence. According to the Christian’s worldview, humans was made by God. The Bible, which is the foundation of Christian faith and belief, claims that God created everything from nothing including man, plants, animals and the seas. In the first chapter of Genesis,

Most individuals believe that humans are more superior to animals and plants. In the creation story, in the book of Genesis, the Bible claims that man was made in God’s image and likeliness (Genesis 2:7). The Bible also claims that God made Adam and Eve and gave them the task of looking after all that He had created. From the above story, it is logical for Christians to believe that they are more important than animals.
Various individuals have different reasons as to why they exist and what they are supposed to fulfil. The Christian worldview of the meaning and purpose of life is to build and maintain a steady relationship with God. Christians believe in getting salvation as it is the key factor that links them with God. Every person has a different purpose in this world, but the common one is exemplifying and worshiping the Lord (Weider and Gutierrez, 2011).
Morality is one of the areas which consistently come up are through the Bible. There are various definitions of good and bad in different places in the world. Different people believe that there are various things which are right while others are wrong. It is common for Christians living righteously because that is what they envision from the character of God (Weider and Gutierrez,
Morality is based off the individual and underlining factors. One book cannot determine how one should live, believes secular humanist. Right and wrong is based on the opinion of the individual, the environment, and circumstance. The Bible gives us the Ten Commandments to help on stay on a straight path. I agree that environment and circumstances have an influence on behavior but not on whether the behavior is right or wrong. (71)
He does consider us more valuable (Matthew 6:26, ASV) because he created us in his image, meaning he wants us to be more like him. Therefore, we are held to different standards which is why God placed humans over all living things such as animals (Genesis 1:26). Due to this, we are to treat them with tender love and care.
The Old Testament of the Holy Bible gives many examples which provide modern man with guidelines for the use of scientific method. Millam (2008) explains that there is an underlying order in nature demonstrated by the patterns and regularities of God’s creations. These regularities can be seen in the forces of nature and are stable throughout space and time (Millam, 2008). The original classification of species, use of precise measurement, and even the first account of scientific research, are all included in the Old Testament of the Holy Scriptures. God gives scientists some clear frames of reference for seeking knowledge and truth in science.
Humans were created in Gods image. In Genesis 1-2, human beings are created to live and take care of what God has formed. God placed Adam, and then Eve, on earth. He created them from the dust of the earth. God spoke to Adam and gave him all the animals to name. Adam was also given the task of tending to and growing the Garden of Eden. Human nature is confirmed to be obedient to God and his word. (Bible - ESV, Genesis 1-2) God wanted human nature to be kind, just, obedient, good, faithful, etc. Gods ultimate creation was human life.
Christians believe God created humans in his image and likeness. Humans are lower than the angels but above all living things. For Humanist, Humans are simply part of evolution and that life is not sacred. We as humans do not have meaning but in the eyes of a Christian, we are part of God’s greatest creation.
What is a worldview? On the word of Dr. Lew Weider & Dr. Ben Gutierrez (2013), "A worldview is the reflection of ones' heart; or internal existence, ones' mentality, feelings, and desires. The complete process that brings forth one's beliefs."
My name is Asia Harvey. I am eighteen years old. I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. I am a freshman in college majoring in communications. Worldview to me means how everyone in the world interprets reality. I believe everyone has a worldview and it is influenced by our ethics, morals, and family values. It can also be influenced by what we hear, what we read, what we see or who we associate with. Worldview is mostly influenced by religion and science even though, a worldview can and do change. I believe the Christian worldview deals with the belief in the Bible. It leads me to believe that God created the universe in six days and on the last day he rested and that I am God's creation put on earth to fellowship with him and govern
A worldview is not determined simply by a single factor, value, belief or view. It can be described as a collection of beliefs a person has about his or her life and the world around. This worldview can include aspects such as a consistent decision making process, an idea of what is right or wrong, and also who or what authority do I respect and follow. This view can modified constantly by factors including experiences that a person might face, a changing environment, and different values. There are many different types of worldviews and perspectives people have about the world that help to shape who

There are many different ways to completely define the term “Worldview”. To actually have a worldview it means that you have built a particular opinion of life. The opinions that have been created will help in the development of ideas or decisions as well as how the world around you is perceived. No two people will have the same worldview, most people live their lives. (Open Bible, 2015)
A “worldview is a set of beliefs or truth claims that form a framework for making sense out of life and the world” (MacCullough, Ed.D., 2012, p. 15). Basically, it is how we view the world. We all have our own perception in the way we view the world. Our worldview is what we believe the answers are in our everyday life and what we believe are the answers to everything we do or are involved in. This includes everything from our values, beliefs, and our actions. It also includes how we view
A worldview is defined as a set of rules or principles that a person lives by. James Sire, author of Naming the Elephant, defines a worldview as “a set of presuppositions (assumptions which may be true, partially true or entirely false) which we hold (consciously or subconsciously, consistently or inconsistently) about the basic makeup of our world.” (*) Worldviews are fundamental to our living, as worldviews determine values and our corresponding actions to those values. a.
Mankind was created on the sixth day as a steward with tremendous authority above all animal species but below angels (Psalm 8:5-6).
What is a worldview? How does it influence our daily lives? A worldview is how we see reality. It influences the way we live our lives. It influences the way we interact with each other. A worldview is a belief system of who we are, why we are here, and what our destiny is.
In the book of Genesis when it speaks of man being made in the image of God, what is seen is that just as God created the earth, we can give form to the formless. We can make a date with another, and we can plan to do something at a certain time. Humans unlike any other creature can describe an exciting experience, or tell a scary story. Through speech we can say, "I don't know," which is the first step to gaining understanding and knowledge. Humans are more than just mere creatures of nature because of the art of remembering, recalling, and through language either written or spoken.
