A code of ethics, also called a code of conduct or ethical code, sets out the company 's values, ethics, objective and responsibilities. While conducting a therapy session in which the entire family is present, I then realize that the father is my parent’s lawyer. This now crosses the boundaries of multiple relationships. It is said that as a therapist, when this happens I am supposed to take action and follow the necessary steps to avoid confrontation or legal actions. This issue affects code 1.3 and is somewhat difficult to deal with depending on the situation. Since I know that the father was my parent’s lawyer, I must take action even if he does not recognize who I am. To protect the relationship that I have with my client, I must review the AAMFT Code of Ethics and also ask for advice from my colleague. I don’t think that I should terminate the therapeutic

A personal ethical code is something everyone has. People may be aware of it to different degrees, or have differing levels of definition, but no one is entirely unprincipled. Ethical codes may be based off different factors such as religion, society, and family. My personal ethical code is derived from simply one source, the writings of Immanuel Kant. I find that the code described by him is the only one that is truly justified, and therefore the only one I would be able to follow without cognitive dissonance or feeling I was doing the wrong thing. However, as this is my personal code, and I don’t want to merely rephrase Kant, I interpret the rules much differently than he did, and in some places make modifications or draw radically different conclusions. Otherwise, My ethical code is based on following The Categorical Imperative whenever possible.
The value of integrity is another important aspect of the NASW Code of Ethics. It is essential that social workers develop a relationship built on trust and righteousness. It has been suggested that through a “minimum combination of training and ongoing support (supervision, consultation, and coaching), preferably extended with booster sessions,” (Goense, Boendermaker & Yperen, 2015, p. 69), a social worker can develop an effective relationship full of integrity. According to the National Association of Social Workers (1999), social workers can promote integrity in the social work profession by participating in the community through educational presentations, providing services, teaching or conducting research.

The code of ethics should have a detailed plan of implementation that includes communication, managing, accountability, monitoring, evaluation and a process on handling the consequences of misconduct. This paper will outline a successful
This article poses an ethical issue not seen in many braches of science, and that is multiple codes of ethics. Anthropological research is typically done by conducting field work. Thus, as the article states the anthropologist’s values and ethics will meet that of the culture being studied and they will either compliment or compete with each other. Having a solid ethics code is impossible for an anthropologist, just as anthropologists must adjust themselves to other cultures their ethics must as well. The AAA outlines a reliable framework to follow these guidelines are either almost universal, unique to the field of anthropology or entirely up to the anthropologist.

An ethical code is a set of morals that a person or group determines to assist their own selves when it comes to decision-making. An ethical code is something that is pretty stable and should not vary based on the context of the situation. Some people form ethical codes that they follow on a micro level, such as only buying American made products from the grocery store, or they could be on a grander scale, such as how a CEO would lead a company. Most successful marketers have a similar ethical code that is the framework for their marketing efforts, but the variations and oversight of certain aspects of the marketing effort leads to a company’s inability to influence customers towards buying their product or service. An ethics code similar

In conclusion, in our opinion, there are so many standards and criteria to judge whether a consultants’ behavior is ethical and permissible, and code of conduct can hardly be the only criterion since it is too general to cover every aspect in the real business world.
