College Education Is Not Worth Going To College

Higher education is very valuable, the majority of the time in people's lives it determines how much their salary will be and possibly the lifestyle they will be able to have. Many people believe that college is only for rich people, and while it is quite costly in the end it is worth it. While a CNA goes to a training program for about 3 weeks, Registered Nurses go to school for 2 or more years through a program, but an RN makes twice and if specializing in an area can make three times more than a CNA at around 20 thousand a year. Going to college can determine if someone pays cash for a beautiful house or car, or if someone has to save up or even get a loan. Sometimes having a college education even has its benefits after the person get a job in the workplace, as you may get seniority over others and you may get more benefits.

When asked if one want to go to college or not if the answer is no you should make sure you have a backup plan. A backup plan would include a having job prepared so the person will be making money straight out of high school or, making sure there are plans in place for the person to go to some kind of trade school. When deciding not to go to college making sure the job without a degree can support the person and maybe one day a family. Although not going to college can be put off to mean someone will not make a lot of money throughout their whole life, this is not always true.
