From the Communicative Competence Scale given, I have learned how much comfortable I am communicating with those in my surroundings. I have been communicating with various groups of people due to the experience from my job as I am a current Lot Associate at the Home Depot as my job consists of helping and communicating with customers if any assistance that they need for them to make their trip easier. Before, I use to have my arms or legs shaking whenever I have to present or when I am around others who I am not acquainted to, but I was gradually able to feel more relax as I present myself toward others no matter what environment I am in.

Being an excellent listener is one of the best ways to become a good communicator. Throughout the group work, the author demonstrated great communication skills when listening to her team’s different ideas and then taking them on board to create the best results. Fellow team members will appreciate good listening skills, and so in return, it will have a positive impact to the group’s mood, and encouraging them to be confident to speak up and say their thoughts as they know their ideas are being listened too.

We are at the beginning of week six of training and there is one goal I have set to achieve by week eight. This goal is communication, more precisely the way I speak. When I am nervous my tone tends to rise and fall abruptly or when I am thinking of what to say I tend to use filler words and I would sort of click my tongue. As a part of my assignment to identify the styles and different skills of communication by studying Brian Krzanich actions and behaviour. From the team dynamic/ communication activities in the class and outside the class such as, pre-knowledge survey and question for each topic, presentation session, and case studies are the best technique to help me to exploring myself among the team work. It helps me to identify the various methods of being professional in communicating with the job recruiter. Also, the professional communication strategies that help me to preparing myself to be able to communicate in the workplace between individual and individual, individual with the group or organisation for the future career. So, after went through each activities in the meeting management session, I become more prepare and more cautious to face the new challenge of life after graduation.

There are six topics about communication strategies that can improve my professional communication. The first is Team Dynamics. When I have team project after learn this topic, I need to share my opinion of work in my team and open-mind to other opinion in my team and vote the best solution for solve problem in my team. The second topic is Meeting Management. This topic is the way to solve the problem when my team has meeting. I plan the topic that we need to talk in team and set the schedule that what should we do in meeting. The third topic is Conflict Management. Team conflict is the biggest problem in team. We need to talk with reason and open-mind in team for reconcile with people who has conflict. We will find the best way to solve team

Communication is one of the most important and valuable skills we have developed as human beings. It is the basis for how we connect with each other globally and shape the people we are today. Without effective communication, we would not be able to build productive relationships, express our cultural values, or most importantly, voice our thoughts. As we grow, we learn and develop our unique form of communication. Whether we are strong public speakers or prefer an interpersonal approach, it is important to find what type of communication is best suited for us, so we can appropriately and effectively use communication to our advantage. There are several different aspects that make us effective communicators, and knowing our strengths and weaknesses in theses categories will give us a comparative advantage on how to properly communicate on an interpersonal level. In this paper, I will discover the type of communicator I am, what I am good at, and what I can work on, to become an excellent interpersonal communicator.

My communication skills have been a great asset to both my personal and work life. It has strengthened my ability to work in harmony with co-workers and in group settings. Although I communicate quite effectively I do find myself to be more quiet in large group settings and dislike public speaking. My recent position in community nursing required me to take on multiple roles as an educator and helped me work on my public speaking skills.
