America is most prevalently associated with the opportunities that the country has to offer its citizens. From the early times when America was just a mere land across the Atlantic Ocean, It was still a mere land but the Europeans found hope within the land. Hope that also lead the Great Migration, which consisted of desperate Europeans in a boat crossing the treacherous Atlantic ocean in a hope for a new beginning. Benefits of attending a community college as opposed to a traditional university tend to be overlooked by potential students. They are either unaware of its advantages or do not fully understand how this type of education can benefit their cause. Year after year large amounts of students choose to go straight from high school and in to four-year universities. When I thought about my future and where I 'll be going, I thought I would be attending a university like all of my friends in high-school. I never thought I would be attending a community college. I really hated the idea of community college. I thought it was for people who had low ACT score or people who didn 't really try as hard as others in school. I always tried hard in school even when things got hard I still tried my best. I never thought it would be for me until I saw the benefits of attending a community college. I attend a two year college because I felt like I had a better opportunity to talk to my professor , also to better myself improving my knowledge by stepping out of my comfort zone.
In " Free College Doesn't Fix Everything,” Richard Reeves, a senior fellow in economic studies at the Brookings Institution. Said that Community colleges in the United States can, in theory, provide an important service. not everyone has the same opportunity to earn a bachelor's degree. Most high school students from rich families will end the university, some of humble origin will join them. At this time, the system of institutions in the United States serves to reinforce inequality from generation to generation, rather than reduce it. However, some students do not get into college, or do not finish their studies, and this is not only economically-financial situation is also due to the weakness that has America in education. Community college is a smart option for persons seeking a quality education at a lower price, it is an invaluable stepping stone to attending a 4 year university, and it provides an occasion to interact with people from diverse cultures. Advice I would give a community college student planning to transfer to a four year university is to use their time wisely and take the community college experience seriously. Use this beneficial stage between high school and a four year university to learn how to manage time, complete and turn in assignments by deadlines, work diligently to follow teachers’ instructions, and strive

Throughout his presidency, Barack Obama has tackled pressing issues that pervade society. Among his latest endeavours, free community college tuition is one which strikes a chord among many. Though many supporters believe that free tuition will promote and speed up the process of attaining a college degree, opposers, which includes students, like myself, believe that free community college tuition is not necessary due to financial aid and the congested impact that CCs would endure.

Firstly, I especially preferred community college in Washington State because some of them provide High School Completion program, obtaining United State high school diploma. One of the advantages of this program is that I could take high school classes paralleled with college courses. Since my parents were unable to cover the expensive tuition for four years of university, low tuition and fee cost was eye-catching that I decided to search for community college. Having met Alvin Tai, the school representatives, when he came to Vietnam promoting Green River Community College, I have my concern about the admission requirement, difficulties of transferring process and housing answered explicitly. Lastly, offering smaller size class so that it

Presently vital suggestion in the 21st century occupation showcase in the United States and prominently has the educational cost rates been ascending at a record pace, which numerous Americans essentially can't bear. Notwithstanding, President Barack Obama's strategy formally called "America's College Promise," which was designed according to the "Tennessee and Chicago Promise" is going to give powerful and vital answer for bringing down the junior college training to zero for understudies who qualifies to lessen the understudy dropout rate from communities. However, the oppose depict this approach to be an inefficient subsidizing of discarding cash through insufficient arrangement. The expense of educational cost in school is the fundamental motivation behind why understudies don't enlist in any case on the grounds that they are agonized over leaving it under water (substantial understudy obligation). Attending a 2-year college has so many benefits for so many different people. In the 1970s, when public university tuition rates were approximately $510 a year, the United States ranked first globally for college attainment; today as rates have sky rocketed to more than $9,000 a year, the United States has fallen in the ranks to 14th behind many other developed nations (Davidson, 2015).
