Islamic Religion VS Christianity Religion
Many people in the United States don’t realize how different all the religions around the world are however, there are also the same in many ways as well. The religions that are going to be talked about, are two religions that are commonly known across the world. Christianity has over 2 billion followers across the world. The Islamic religion has about 1.6 billion followers around the world. The word followers is referred to the people who believe in the certain religion, it does not mean that these people are huge followers, however. There are many facts about the Christianity and the Islamic religion, but each one has differences and similarities that are worth mentioning.
With Christianity and Islamic religions in mind, we need to know the facts about each one before comparing and contrasting. First off, Christianity is a religion founded by a guy named Paul, around 30-35 AD. Paul founded the religion in Jerusalem, Israel and he passed it on to many people today. The founder of the Islamic religions is Muhammad. Muhammad founded the Islamic religion in Mecca, Saudi Arabia around the time of 610 AD. When comparing and contrasting it is easy to learn that many people have different beliefs that they fulfill in different ways than others. Like in this case people follow a certain religion because that is what they like to believe in. However, these are just two religions that are out there. There are many more regions that people believe in to be happy. It is also easy to learn that many people are judged by the certain things they believe in. So in all, the different religions are something that affects people's life in good and bad
Although they share several basic theological ideas, Christianity and Islam differ on countless key characteristics. The most prominent differences include atonement, the identity of God, heaven, view of Jesus, and the perception of the Christian Bible. It is these not-so-subtle contrasts of thoughts that separate the two most prevalent religions in the world.
Islam and Christianity have so much similarities than people tend to perceive. The main differences between Islam and Christianity include their place of worship, view of Jesus, Holy scriptures, certain practices and even the use of images and statues. People who practice Islam are known as Muslims and people who practice Christianity are called Christians.
On the surface, Islam and Christianity appear to have very little in common, however, as you get deeper into areas such as rituals, beliefs, ethics, founders, and sacred objects, the two show strong mutual similarities, particularly in the fundamental areas, while being totally different. In this essay I will compare and contrast many of the facets that make up the worlds largest and most recognized religions, Christianity and Islam.

Like many religions both Islam and Christianity claim to be the one and only true way to God. Although Islam and Christianity differ in major ways, they also share some similarities.

Both had an impactful split of religion and government which caused people of the same religion to fight. In addition, people being united by religion caused both of these empires to become global superpowers. In contrast, the role of Christianity and Islam were much different. The Islamic Religion had a belief of "Dar al Isam" which lead the Islamic Caliphates to take over the Byzantine Empire.
Islam and Christianity are the largest religion in the world and share many common beliefs. The two religions co-exist in many parts of the world. However, each religion has it is own territories where they are the dominant religion. The two religions share almost the same history of inception and concepts of faith. Despite, being similar in many ways, they also have marked differences. The differences have led to mutual distrust between the Christians and the Muslims. Many Muslims have come out openly to criticize the Christian religion and Christians have written many articles condemning the Islam religion. The differences and similarities appear in many aspects of the religions. As such, it is easier to discuss them intensively by restricting the discussion to selected aspects. The life after death and belief in the Supreme Being by the believers of Christianity and Islam religions has many differences and similarities.

Christianity and Islam are wide spread religions which impact the lives of believers spiritually. Both religions have had substantial impact on the course of history and have formed the basis of many countries laws and are highly recognized by governments. Though Christianity is more widely known, they both pose the same challenges to each other.
