Compare And Contrast High School Vs Middle School

Each year schools of 25 teachers would use about 62,500 pieces of paper. The amount of paper you use each day depends on the class you have. It also depends on the teacher of the class. Schools of more than 25 teachers would use more paper. It also depends how many students are in each class, and in the school overall. I think you use more paper in high school than you do in middle school. There are three other ways high school is different than middle school.

It is a good idea to provide a separate school experience for middle school from the high school, because putting both middle school and high school in the same building will have a negative experience for middle school students in many aspects. Noticeably, the high school students and middle school students sharing the hallway is a bit destructive in some aspects of behaviors.

The hallways full of lockers, teachers, and students is the start to any academic future, despite the differences high school and middle school bring. High school and middle school have many differences, some not as large as others. From decorated middle school lockers, to the red and black cardinal spirited lockers at the high school, is just one tiny difference between the two (BE10). Major differences include the homework given, how intense high school sports are, and more classes available in high school than middle school. Among the many differences, high school is brought to another level of expectations, requirements, and responsibility. To anyone thinking high school is just something to float on by, will have a rude awakening soon to arise.

Middle school was a lot of fun for me, I met a lot of new people and lots of new girls. It was also kinda tough in the beginning with switching classes and things and having so many different teachers and lots of homework from different classes and having to remember the room numbers of each class but eventually I got used to everything.

On September 1, 2012, I walked into my fifth grade teacher’s classroom for the first time in my life. Many people endure three years of middle school and four years of high school. It is an eventful time for children between 11 to 18 years old. During the adolescent years there are hormonal changes, environmental changes and emotional developmental gains. Middle school is the beginning of transitioning towards independence under the constant eye of adults. During high school they are challenged with real-world challenges that help them transition into adulthood. The behaviors of these individuals change as the factors change around them. For every person, the experience of high school or middle school may be different. Either way, both have the same goal of wanting the student to succeed and evolve. Even so, the similarities and differences vary. Middle school and high school are alike in the areas of receiving an education, socializing with others, and having teachers while different in areas of maturity, difficulty in work, and independence.

As a new middle school student, I am put through challenges everyday from teachers. From homework to quarterlies, there is a pile of assignments. This can be new for some students. It is still new to me, and I have had it for over nine weeks! There are many differences between the middle school and elementary school.

Going back and rereading page 71, made me think about how unprepared I initially felt about starting high school. Before I had even started, I was worrying that I would be drowning in assignments and projects, and would not have any of the same friends from middle school. High school seemed so large and important compared to middle school, and I could not wrap the idea around my head that I was going to be a freshman. High school had always seemed so grown up to me and so were the people in it. Dear Freshman Class of 2022, you will notice the difference between Middle School and High school. One major lesson that I have learned was to make a plan for the future. One of the positive experiences that I have gained from High school was making friends that can help me grow as a person. My advice is to try to grow as a person and prepare for the real world.

In the first few weeks of high school, I have put a lot of effort in my classes and my homework. Some schools I attended in Virginia were Forrest Elementary and Hidenwood Elementary. Hines Middle school is the only middle school I went to. A couple of leadership experiences I have encountered in my community would be when I volunteered at Main Street Library and at my church this summer. At school in 6th grade I also were a mentor where I toured new students that came to Hines.

Hearing the words “high school” does not seem as a life impacting word. When hearing that word, majority of people take it as a series of grade levels or a step closer to college. But little do they realize, who they were in middle school is not the same person they are in high school. Mainly because with middle school and high school comes many differences and similarities. For example, honor students may have the sample amount of homework, where appearance and friends change throughout the years.

High school and college are two forms of education, one which is a required education, and the other is an optional education. Some people go into college believing that it’s not much different than high school, but in reality it is immensely different from high school. Despite the obstacles that one might face in acquiring a high school and college education, the benefits they bring for personal development and future career opportunities, are enormous. Whether a student chooses to pursue high school, or a higher level of education, they will find a variety of similarities and differences between the two. While high school and college have similar main goals of attaining education and pursuing student edification, the two also have several key differences such as expected responsibility, teacher/professor standards, and time management schedules.
