“The Lord and Giver of Life” according to Mueller The Holy Spirit gives life in two ways: spiritually and physically. While many people think that physical life is the most important thing, the gift of new spiritual life is even greater. This new life of faith is the principle work of the Holy Spirit. Also, Mueller explains that Salvation is a free gift of God through the work of Jesus Christ. We received the gift through faith, but the Scriptures show that faith is not our work, it is a gift of God. Meaning that the Holy Spirit is the Lord of a merciful giver. Just like God send his one and only son Jesus Christ to redeem us from our sins through his grace. The Holy Spirit is given to us through faith. It gives us the faith and hope that we are not alone. Our natural human flesh gives us the weakness and uncertainty. However, through God’s grace the Holy Spirit reassure and uplift us every day. Some people might call it survival, I called it the Holy Spirit of God. Being a mother of four children, working full time and coming to school once week. It’s pure grace of God giving by the Holy Spirit. The passion of waking up every day and wanting to do better for me and my family. It’s God’s grace and the Holy Spirit. As Paul states in Romans 5:5-6 “And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us. You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for ungodly.” Giving us a of God’s love through the Holy Spirit’s work. Likewise, it’s comforting by giving us the sense that we are not alone. In Matthew 28:19-20 Jesus himself tells us “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.
