Ms. Anicet appeared to the schedule appointment to complete the Comprehensive Vocational Evaluation on this day. The customer arrived 10 minutes late to the appointment since she drove from Port Charlotte to the workshop location in Fort Myers, FL. Upon arrival she requested additional time to go out to eat breakfast, she returned to the workshop around 10:30 am. The customer was cooperative during the evaluation, and answer the questions to the best of her knowledge. There was no visible sign of her disability. The customer indicated that she has been diagnosed with Specific Learning Disorder with Impairment in Reading and Mathematics which contradicted the Psychological evaluation’s results conducted in 12/22/015 by Dr. Jeannette Corredor,
It is important to ensure that we meet the need of the students on every level. One effective way to do this is to observe, assess, and record children’s efforts and progress. In this way, an educator can prepare to help a child’s progression in the class. Being able to track and refer to the progress of a child helps to ensure greater levels of success. In the end, our program is only as successful as the children in our care. Record keeping can identify areas that need improvement, and allows us to teach to their strong points.

This study follows three cohorts of students- those who started ninth grade in 2008, 2009, and 2010 (the high school classes of 2012 through 2014)- from ninth grade through the year after they should have graduated high school. These cohorts include over 100,000 individual students and more than 350,000 student-year observations. More specifically, all of these students are enrolled in Arkansas high schools. This study includes all students in Arkansas that are enrolled in CTE courses.
In order for me to complete this career assessment paper, I initially took an Interest Inventory survey. Upon completing this process, it revealed that my personality profile score was (I, C, A). These three letters represented my strengths and interests in determining which career field would best suit me.
The theoretical career development framework that I chose to assist in Catherine’s career counseling process is Donald Super’s counseling theory. I decided to chose this particular career development framework because I thought it would be the most effective and appropriate to use with the client. The client is thirty-seven years of age and is dealing with a lot on her plate. Equally important, people grow and change throughout their lives and this theory respects that.

Gaining the trust of your client is important when counseling. I agree with applying vocational counseling because it will educate her with legalities of being discrimination of disabilities. Often, humans feel that situations are wrong and unjust but remained uneducated to the possibilities of being able to receive help within the situation. Depending on that particular situation and the individual some situations could lead to depression, discouragement, and feelings of worthlessness. Such as people with disabilities that may feel they are facing discrimination. Although, a counselor would need to become aware of the depression, discouragement, and feelings of worthlessness and the causes of the symptoms so that they can properly address
