The description giving on, Openness to Experience, when a person shows appreciation for art, emotion, an unusual ideas, imagination, curiosity, and a variety of experience. Jesus Christ, in his teaching, was someone who would demonstrate his feelings and shows truthful emotion. His examples were so real and it said that he never showed feelings of negativity and it is hard to believe he had unhappy emotional toward others. He was a very compassionate person and his feeling and emotional were real always and nothing kept him from doing what God wanted him to do in the earth and for the people. Based on the description in, Conscientiousness, when a person shows self-discipline, act dutifully, and aim for achievement When Jesus Christ was crucified
Wesley expresses as “almost” a faith that is built upon outward things. Outward things, such as good behavior, firm fulfilment of religious duties, knowledgeable doctrines about God, and a true and sincere yearning to serve God. The first thing implied for the “almost Christian,” is “heathen honesty,” he defines this as one who knows that lying is wrong, knowing the difference between justice and injustice, and obeying to the commandments of God. These noble individuals love and serve others by going out of their way to help one that is underprivileged. The second thing implied in being an “almost Christian,” is having a form of godliness. This form of godliness is the outward exterior of being in right relationship with God and Christ. For instance, one with the form of godliness goes beyond the idea of being honest and devoted to justice. One for all intents and purposes need to help others as they are able if one wishes to be an “almost Christian.” Also, those in the form of godliness must avoid excessiveness, seek peace, and honestly seek to help even those who are deemed to be their adversary by speaking against evil to gain a better life. Furthermore, the “almost Christian,” will encourage others to repent of their sin and pursue God. The “almost Christian,” third implied notion, according to Wesley is sincerity,
In contrast Pope Benedict XVI’s book, Jesus of Nazareth, stated that the ‘Kingdom of God’ is “… an inner disposition characterised in daily behaviour by adopting the mind and outlook of Christ…” A teacher of the law once asked Jesus, “Which commandment is the most important?” He deemed loving God and your neighbour as the two most important. So here it is clear that Jesus is talking about love as a major theme in personal conduct a theme which is exemplified by biblical stories of Jesus’ own behaviour. Jesus demonstrated his love for others on many occasions and in many different ways. He spoke to people who were outcasts or disliked such as the woman at the well and Zacchaeus. He met people’s physical needs through some of his
In chapter fourteen of Thomas Foster’s novel, How to Read Literature Like a Professor, when telling of Christ in our literature, he makes the all-composing assertion that we live in an overwhelming Christian culture. The common man or woman may not know all there is to understand in Christianity, but our media and minds are affected by it considerably and basic knowledge of its core is known by the majority. The figures of Jesus in literature are abstract and in no way have to be exact to Jesus in gender, morality, or actions. No literary character or real character can be as divine or perfect as Jesus was in the Bible, making it impossible to completely replicate him. Imagination is the largest
The road that Jesus accepted on the way to Calvary had to first pass through the Garden of Gethsemane (גת שמנים olive press in Hebrew). It was here that Jesus, in his humanity, experienced true “fear, distress, anguish, and sorrow.” These emotions which Jesus felt that night were real. According to James Keating and Thomas White, who used Thomas Aquinas, states that Jesus has two natures, human and divine. Both were aching with grief. They explain that all humans have two wills, which are caught in a web of tension. The first will is our sensitive will, which contains our emotions. The second is our rational will where our rational decisions are made. Seeing that Jesus is fully human, he had both of these wills in operation in Gethsemane.
Personally Jesus is many things to me and means many things to me. First and for most he is gods son and is the best example of who God is and calls us to be, he was blameless and pure; to put it simpler, he was perfect. His time of teaching on earth was short but was not short of being a huge impact. Through teaching, praying and leading, Jesus was purely god in the flesh, a man with the same temptations and longings that we as humans have. There are many questions that are hard to answer about what Jesus meant by this or why he did that, but what he desires is a heart that is open to his use and a heart that seeks after in everything that we do.
For example: he has real feelings just like humans, he had experience both sadness and joy throughout the story.
* Be Ethically Conscious – Have an appreciation for the ethical dimensions and implications of one’s daily actions and decisions.
When the occupation of a religious man is brought into thought, words like honest, humble, forgiving, or righteous are considered to be associated. Words like hard working, truthful, and effective are brought up when talking about a supervisor. These traits are needed in order to become a high-quality leader among men. From time to time though, selfishness corrupts men. Chaucer criticizes the trait of selfishness as a character trait in The Canterbury Tales.

The Bible paints us the picture of being diligent as one of being thorough, persistent and works hard. They keep the ways of the Lord in their heart. Those of folly lack the sense to know the difference in what they are doing is not the ways of the Lord. As for those that are speaking of as lazy, they are lost and doomed to a life of strife, hardship, and ultimately final judgment to the fiery depths. Only the wisdom of a diligent man can help save those of folly and lazy, and guide them toward God.
To look at Jesus as simply a good man who had a philosophy of doing
“The gospel gives away more to as who Jesus was as person and telling of his teachings in the ministry. John takes us behind Jesus’s ministry, where we get a glimpse of what it means to believe in Jesus as flesh of the eternal and living God, as the source of light and life, and for a believer to be a ‘Son of God.” (Sparknotes
Jesus as teacher tells us to be good, follow him, and live ethical lives. In this model, Jesus is saving us from our own ignorance because we do not know right from wrong. He wants us to change our uncaring behavior by him educating and inspiring each of us through his teachings and examples of love and knowledge. Jesus is the bridge between us and God that covers ignorance and apathy. By him covering that, we change and learn, we live the ethical lives he wants us to live, and we teach and share with our fellow Christians.
