God:
Core doctrines are apart of the Christian faith and should be taught no matter what the denomination is. Doctrines are not negotiable throughout the universal Christian churches. However, churches may have different dogmatic beliefs, because there are not set in stone and vary. Theology is defined by Beth Felker Jones as being “the study of the things of God, a God who loves the world.” Theology is a practice that affects Christians’ lives in many ways: the way that they think, live, and how they talk about God with others. The “law of prayer” suggests to Christians that they are living a whole life of discipleship where they should continue to build intimate relationships with God. There are many core doctrines that we must use in

This is the doctrine that states that there is one God that prevails in eternity as three separate parts. The three specific parts are the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. These three parts of God do not have one that is more important than the other. The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are all God with different roles. Over time, there have been many heretical views placed on the trinity. Adoptionism means that the Son and was seen as ordinary and then promoted to son hood. Modalism is the next heresy, which believe that the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are all three in one, but God wears different masks while He work all over the Earth. Arianism was the heretical belief that claimed Jesus was created, but not divine. Nominalism states that only individual things exist. Tri-theism is the final heresy that believes God is three separate beings. Humans have a difficult time trying to understand the trinity or oneness of God. The trinity teaches the importance of Christian relationships. God wants a relationship with each and every person and also for us to have relationships with others. Having relationships with God allows for Christians to see that God is omnipresent, omnipotent, and omniscient. This means that God will be there at all times during any situations, he will be in complete power, and he will know about everything that is going on in your life.
The doctrine of Scripture is a core doctrine that is crucial to
Fundamental beliefs or convictions determine a person’s core values. Convictions act like the supporting ground that allows me to build my behavior and actions as a professional. Core convictions allow me to identify what is right from wrong; as a teacher, they can help me determine if I am on the right track when fulfilling my professional goals. This is why I think convictions and goals are related; while goals set my objectives as a teacher, my core convictions make sure that these objectives are lenient with professional behavior and practices. In this composition, I will illustrate five core convictions about teaching and learning and how they relate to my professional goals as a teacher.
God the Son is revealed in the Christian Scriptures. God the Spirit is revealed in the Church. The Trinitarian doctrine states that there are three co-eternal, equal persons in God, which is the notion of unity within community. The Trinitarian doctrine was further developed and defined at the councils of Nicaea in 325 CE and Constantinople in 381 CE. God was always trinity, however gradually this reality became known through revelation. Jesus calls God and speaks of the spirit which indicates a plurality in God. The difficulty is reconciling the concept of monotheism with the notion of God existing as three persons. The divine essence is common to all three, however the three persons have attributes or properties which distinguished them eg Fatherhood, sonship and sanctifying power. Once essence means that the actions (creation, redemption, sanctification) are attributable to all. Mutual relations is the concept that the terms Father and Son are not titles but expressions of a relationship and thus all three persons are co-equal
A belief that there is one God, who is eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Throughout this semester I have learned many of the different christian doctrines. Many of them were challenged and also accepted in my weekend trip throughout Saint Louis. I think one of the most important topics that was discussed during my weekend was the consideration of the Trinity. In the Christian thought the word “trinity” is a term used to talk about the Christian doctrine that God exists as a unity of three distinct persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Three of the staple thoughts include; God is three person; each person is divine; there is only one God. In their relations to one another, they are stated to be on in all else, co-equal, co-eternal and consubstantial. With these three thoughts about the Trinity you also must remember that Christianity is a monotheistic religion.
Both Roman Catholics and the Eastern Orthodox Church comprehended God to exist in three structures, known as the Trinity. God is three in one, the Father, the Son, and Holy Spirit.
Trinity is one God. Each of the persons of the trinity, Father, Son, and Spirit “is God whole and entire”. I believe that the trinity of persons consists of one substance and one essence. Each of the persons is that supreme reality, the divine substance, essence or nature. Each of the three persons are distinct from one another, but known to be related to one another.
Where there are numerous important doctrines within Christianity, these four beliefs provide the basis for the Christian religion, and any denomination must agree on these indispensable topics. Any religious group identifying themselves as “Christian,” yet implicitly or explicitly denying one or more of these core doctrines, receives classification as a cult.
The biblical creed and doctrine in which my core religious beliefs are founded upon originates from the message of the Gospel of the good news of Jesus Christ, which is rooted in the significance of the life of Jesus Christ. In Scripture, doctrine refers to the entire body of essential theological truths that define and describe the message of our soon coming King's core beliefs. For instance, the word of God declares, “Those who accept Jesus Christ will live for eternity with him after they die”(John 11:25, 26; 2 Corinthians 5:6). Further clarification of the word states, "Christians will be raised from the dead when Jesus returns" (1 Thessalonians 4:14-17), and lastly, "God will create a new heaven and a new earth" (2Peter 3:13). Specifically,
Christian Universalism is a school of Christian theology that is focused on the doctrine of universal salvation. This doctrine holds the third position and believes that eventually all human beings, regardless of their faith, will be saved and will enjoy everlasting life with Christ. This doctrine has been presented differently by those who advocated it throughout the centuries and various labels have been used to refer to this doctrine, including “Universal restoration”, “universal restitution”, “universal reconciliation”, and “universal salvation.”
According to the Christian worldview, God exists in a unique form known as the Trinity. This defines God as a singular being with three distinct persons: the Father, Son, and Spirit. Each person has a unique role: the Father is the Sovereign Creator (Psalm 103:19, New American Standard Bible); the Son is the Messiah and the firstborn over all creation (Colossians 1:15, NASB); and the Spirit is an Intercessor and Helper (John 14:26, NASB). All three persons comprise the single figure of God. This concept, while complex, is pivotal to the Christian worldview as one begins to analyze the overarching message of the Gospel.
The word "Trinity" was first introduced theologically by Tertullian. He believed that God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit existed as one which he called the Trinity. He believed they were one God, of the same substance. Basil, Gregory of Nyssa and Gregory of Nazianzus, known as the Cappadocian fathers, are among the first to formulate the Doctrine of the Trinity. Stanley Grenz writes, "They declared that God is one ousia but three hypostaseis. The three independent realities share the same will, nature and essence. Yet each has special properties or activities" (Grenz p.60). One ousia means "one essence" and three hypostaseis means center of consciousness. The Blessed Trinity is one God in essence but self discloses as the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are different from one another in role but all are divine and are equal in deity. "Each of the three trinitarian members fulfills a specific role in the one divine program. The Father functions as the ground of the world and of the divine program for creation. The Son functions as the revealer of God, the exemplar and herald of the Father's will for creation, and the redeemer of human kind. And the Spirit functions as the personal divine power continuously active in the world, the completer of the divine will and program"(Grenz p.67). While they fulfill different roles, they commune with
As a result, fellowship, prayer, Bible study, worship, and most importantly salvation in its purest form can be discerned and acted upon correctly. In addition, a further understanding can be thus gained regarding the person of Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. Finally, heresies and heretical groups or beliefs can lead God’s followers astray from the truth and create an improper understanding, and thus relationship with God. Positions past and present have, and are, attempting to mislead Christians about the Trinity. A skewed view of the Trinity can result in a view of God as either divinely apart from creation or simply a better version of all the best attributes of humans. Some positions even take away from the Divinity of Jesus Christ. All of these views severely diminish who God is and alters a proper and true relationship and worship. It is a necessity that these errant views be exposed as a hindrance to God in order not to mislead God’s followers. Likewise a Biblically sound explanation of the Trinity is needed. As a result, a true and pure knowledge of the concept of the Trinity is crucially needed to understand God and be obedient to the Bible.
Christianity has different ways of teachings about the Bible. The Bible contains several details that give the way of teachings. The teaching of Christianity is very dependent on the Bible and the beliefs that follow it. This details that instructor show the way of teaching is doctrines. Doctrines refer to a principle or a law for Christianity. On the other side, definitions and theorems are the directions for the teaching of math, Calculus. Both the teaching of Christianity and calculus has similarities in several ways. Some of these are the doctrines to Christianity and definitions and theorems to calculus.
Christians believe the image of God to be three Gods merged into one. The Trinity’s components are the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit and they are all equal. Each form of God has the same attributes of all-powerful, all-knowing, always present,
There are several definitions or views such as Monotheism, which is the belief in only one God; Polytheism, a religion that worships many Gods; Panteism which describes that God is all and all is God, to see all the universe and enlightment as their God, Theism, a belief that at least one diety exists; etc.
