One of the unique beliefs in Christianity is the doctrine that there is only one God, but there are three beings within Him. Christianity is commonly practiced throughout the world, influencing many aspects of the daily life, values, and beliefs of followers by tying in elements of prayer, sacred texts, holy days and places, and central figures and teachings.
There are many essential elements of the Christian worldview. God is the largest element due to His place as the foundation of the power and influence. God created humanity and allowed for their fall. He positioned Jesus Christ to save humanity from itself, satisfy divine judgment, and to reconcile their relationship with God. This paper will explain how each component is essential to the Christian worldview and what impacts those beliefs have on my own worldview.
The Christian belief, as we know is based upon a single God, creator of all things and human beings. This one is based upon the bible and constitutes, according to Schaffer the

What is Christianity? -The belief that Jesus Christ, the son of the Lord God, was sent to Earth to teach and show the works of God and sacrifice himself for our sins so that we as humans may have eternal life after “death”
The Christian understanding of God differs from other world religions' conceptions mainly because of their belief in the doctrine of the Trinity. Christians believe that God is the Father, the Son, and The Holy Spirit although "the doctrine of the Trinity is not explicitly spelled out in the Bible" (Created for Community pg. 16), the doctrine is the result of the experiences of the early Christians proving that the one God, the creator was the Father, Jesus was the Lord but he was not the Father but the Son, and the godly presence around them was The Holy Spirit. Although there is a trinity, Christians believe there is still one God, "one God [Christians worship] in trinity and trinity and unity neither confusing the persons nor dividing the
I have always wondered this; who created us? All those stories that we have learned from our ancestors, teachers and multilateral sources tell a different story. I think the very existing origin story of humans in earth is illogical. Illogical in a sense of lacking sense in the story we once thought were true from religion. How come an entity who lives up in the sky or in the highest mountains could create us, who hovers on a flying chariot, exaggerating claims and false claims about human like figure who has powers beyond unimaginable. The main sources of such claim seems to have come from early dates as old as Religion.
Christianity is one of the three largest religious in the world and Christians always believe that Juses is the Son of God. “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.” (Genesis 1-3) Christians always believe that the God created the people, and developed the whole people’s life. Christians’ belief is that they need to believe the word of God and these worlds are the foundation of the Christians. Christian practices are divided by denomination, however, the basic elements include private and corporate prayer, studying and reading of the Scriptures, a Sunday worship service and participation in rites such as baptism and communion.
The Christian faith focuses on the holy trinity, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit (all one God in three persons). Still, Christianity is a
As believers in Christ, we believe in One God, the Father, Creator of Heaven and Earth. We believe that He is the one who can provide atonement of sin through Christ Jesus; that if we believe in Him we will have everlasting life and resurrection from the dead. Christianity teaches that man cannot earn salvation. We need a savior who will bridge the gap and who will pay the penalty for our sins. Salvation is only in Christ 's finished work on the cross that God considers
The key beliefs of the religion Christianity, also supported by the Bible, is that there is only one God, that God is a Trinity— He is all powerful, being present everywhere. God is Holy and righteous, love and true and the creator of everything that exists. He is infinite, unchanging. Humans were created by God in the image of God, and so we need to
Christianity is a monotheistic religion, the belief in one true god which originated in Palestine stemming from the faith Judaism. Although Christians believe in only one true god, they believe in what is called the trinity. The trinity consist of three parts, all considered to be one; the father, the son, and the Holy Spirit. There are many different branches of Christianity, but for now we’ll just cover an overview of the entire religion as a whole. The basic principle to Christianity is that it follows the life of Jesus of Nazareth, more commonly known as Jesus Christ, the son of their one true god and one part to the trinity. It follows three aspects to Jesus’s life. First, it talks
Christianity is the world's biggest religion, with about 2.2 billion adherents worldwide. It is based on the teachings of Jesus Christ who lived in the Holy Land 2,000 years ago. Christianity was founded around AD 30-32 in southern Levant which is modern day Israel/Palestine. Through its missionary activity Christianity has spread to most parts of the globe, with USA, Brazil, Mexico and Nigeria being the top 4 countries with the most Christians. Jesus Christ, who was crucified around A.D. 30 in Jerusalem, is the founder of Christianity and he is believed to be the Son of God. He was sent to earth by God to save humanity from the consequences of its sins. Jesus was a Jew and was thought to be the Messiah promised in the Old Testament of the Hebrew bible therefor Christianity originally developed as a part of Judaism. Jesus was crucified by the romans and resurrected from the dead three days later, this proved he was the real Messiah. Christians worship one God who exists in three forms. This threesome is known as the Holy Trinity and consists of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The Father, God, is the creator and lord. The Son, Jesus Christ, is the savior and messiah. The Holy Spirit is the one that directs people and shows them the difference between right and wrong.
Christianity is an Abrahamic monotheistic religion in light of the life and teachings of Jesus Christ. Christians believe in a supreme God, revealed in the Holy Bible, who is the creator of everything else, and human beings are created in God’s image for a purpose. The objective of the Christian 's life is to be unified with God, through Jesus Christ whom is considered as the Son of God, incarnated on the earth. The law set by the God establishes the morals for Christians. Christians believe in an eternal life and for them death is not an end, but the beginning of the eternal journey, and everyone will face a judgment according to his actions on the earth. Whosoever believe that the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross was to redeem the man from the sin, will be given an eternal life in heaven.
"In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth"(Genesis 1:1, New International Version). God created the world; the waters, the land, the vegetation, day, night, aquatic life, birds of flight, land animals, and finally humans. God created us, male and female, in his image, so that we may live on the earth and may rule over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, and the beasts of the land. So that we may be with God but not equal to God. Man was tempted and rebelled against God creating a separation, an abyss between us and God which no one could patch or cross. Man was separated from God. However God wanted to forgive us by sending His son Jesus down onto earth so that we may be saved. Born of a virgin He preached the Gospel of repentance, healed the ailments of man, and was a earthly form of God. However some men did not like Him because He claimed to be equal with God, so Jesus was betrayed into the hands of men who tortured, arrested, taunted, flogged and later crucified Him. He died on the cross not as a martyr, rather as a symbol of God 's forgiveness. That God send his one and only Son as a living sacrifice for our sins so that we may not perish but may go to be with Him in paradise. After three days Jesus rose again and later ascended into heaven to sit down at the right hand of God. It was then the Holy Spirit was given as an earthly counselor for us to guide us down the right path. The Christian faith today is based
