SUMMARY
The study aims to understand the cosmopolitan factor present in India and thus understanding its effect on domestic product quality and foreign product purchase behavior . Measuring these variables from the studies conducted by Parts, O., & Vida . There are further some studies by the same author to explore the aspect of cosmopolitanism and its effect on various factors.

The relation between cosmopolitanism and domestic product quality is unexplored in India , an understanding of the direct relation and effect generates the need to study this aspect.
The direct relation and effect of cosmopolitanism on foreign product purchase behavior is an aspect which needs to be studied for a better insight of it in India. Thus measuring these variables and study the effects of cosmopolitanism has a scope in International marketing research.
OBJECTIVE OF THE STUDY
1) To study the direct effect of cosmopolitanism on foreign product purchase behavior.
2) To study the direct effect of domestic product quality on foreign product purchase behavior.
3) To study the direct effect of cosmopolitanism on domestic product quality perceived by the consumer.
