The reason why County prep is my school of choice is because, It's a Safe community, and has more than one opportunity for me, I believe it will provide a challenge for me. I also want to go there because of their academics in teaching, and many students that attended County Prep will agree with me.
I would like to achieve many goals in County prep such as Medical Science, Computer Science, Business and much more. I also take High school courses such as algebra so I hope of moving on later and advancing and deciding what hard achieve are hard task challenges I need to push me ahead.
The subjects I would like to take is History because Studying history in high school gave me a deeper understanding of the social content of the things
Coming into high school, I was very involved in an organization called FFA(Future Farmers of America). Freshman year I was a “Greenhand” officer and competed in many different events. That same year I attended a speech contest and qualified for finals. I was also involved in choir for the first three years of my high school career and was able to have the opportunity to go to contest four times, in which each time I was able to pull off a high score. In my near future, I hope to attend Southwestern college and earn my teaching degree in early childhood education.
In this letter, I hope to show you why I am interested in going to County Prep. County Prep has been my number one choice for high school. The County Prep mission statement says, “We are a dynamic, diverse and compassionate learning community…” From only this part of the statement, it shows me that this high school is not only an active learning community; it is also a distinct and caring community. This statement persuades me that every student that enters County Prep feels comfortable and that they are there because their future depends on this place. High school is the starting point to pick what you want to be when you grow up. I choose County Prep because it gives you a head start on college and I believe this is what my future depends
The mid range goal I have come up with is to pass with excellent grades in anatomy, biology and other subjects related to my future career. Along with the short term goal, I also have to concoct goals to eventually help me be a Neonatal Surgeon. Step one of my med range goal is to find out what classes the high school teaches for students wanting to go into a medical occupation. Step two is to take the classes that they offer and study hard for tests and make sure to do all assignments accurately with little to no errors so I could pass. Finally, the third step is to take all extra credit opportunities available and use them to my
In History there are World History Part I, World History Part II, World History Part III, United States History Part I, United States History II & III , Civics and Government History, and Social Studies Elective.
County Prep’s social environment is positive, supportive, and helpful. The school staff genuinely care about the students and their physical, mental, and emotional well-being. There are multiple clubs to choose from which promotes interaction between students outside of class. The student government is well functioning and very supportive of the
While in high school I plan to maintain a 3.5 GPA or greater while staying involved and prospering in the sports and activities I practice. In the winter I plan to go to State in Knowledge bowl and go to State and possibly the National DECA tournament as well. The success in these activities will lead colleges and companies to be more attracted to me so I can later get jobs easier and get scholarships to reduce college debt later. While in high school I am also planning to establish a free speech organization to promote overall knowledge and understanding of others while
Staff members at Fieldcrest High School have always preached that if have no goals set for yourself, then that’s exactly where you’ll go; nowhere. I have learned that to be successful in life, setting goals is an essential start to the right track of achieving them. My current goals include: graduate from the University of Texas, graduate from the Dental Program at The University of Texas, and be an orthodontist. Being an active learner through my academics and extracurricular activities, will set the tone for me to excel academically throughout many years of education to become an orthodontist, will improve communication skills for years to come, and will provide critical time management skills to prioritize commitments.
The first goal i would like to achieve is to get a GPA of 3.5 - 3.8 or higher and to get honor roll. I will achieve this goal by focusing more on my grades and paying more attention in my classes. This goal is important to me because I want to show my family I can do better this year. When I get the paper that says that you were in honor roll. I will
Ever since my sister attended Troy University and told me about all the superior activities Troy has to offer, I have wanted to attend this college. Troy has an outstanding nursing program, and that is the career field I plan on going into prior graduation. I have always wanted to specialize in neonatal nursing with sick babies. Troy also has some awesome sororities at their school I am interested in being a part of. Alpha Gamma Delta is the sorority I am most interested in. They strive to achieve academic excellence and they help out their school as much as they can. Lastly, Troy has a very beautiful, clean, and safe campus. Feeling safe while walking around your college is a very important factor to me.

I believe that Polk County Early College High School would be a great school for me because of smaller class sizes and more one on one opportunity with teachers. I feel that I thrive in that kind of setting because you can feel free to ask for help if needed, and it will be provided much more easily than in a larger class room. I also love the opportunity that the school provides to be able to earn college credits while attending high school. I am a very self motivated person and being able to complete work at my own pace would be significant. If I am working at my own pace I will be given the chance to work ahead and cover more material which is great. I think Polk County Early College would be the perfect school for me because I would be
Why do I want to go to North Broward Prep? There are many reasons why. First off I would want to go for the great hockey program. I want to get better, and play as good as I can play. I would also become fit as I play. There is also gym opportunities which I would enjoy. I also would like to go to NBPS because it's a great school, I would love to get a scholarship to a college to help my parents out. I want to get a great education, and for my knowledge to increase. I am going into the boarding program, therefore, I would like to have a lot of fun to make great memories.
In 1945, a California LULAC Council victoriously sued to merge the Orange County School System, which had been isolated in light of the fact that Mexican youngsters were inadequately dressed and mentally sub-par compared to white kids (Takaki, 378). In 1954, LULAC brought another historical case, Hernandez versus the State of Texas, to challenge the fact that a Mexican American had never been called to jury duty in Texas (Class Lecture, 11/30). The Supreme Court administered this as illegal. In the twentieth century, starting with the 1952 Hernandez v. Texas suit, the case started to turn gradually and unyieldingly (“A Class Apart”). That case prompted the first case contended in the United States Supreme Court by Mexican American lawyers.
One of my academic goals is to graduate high school with an honors diploma and increase my G.P.A to a 4.3 at the end of my eighth semester. After I graduate from high school I want to attend Western Nevada College to earn my associate’s degree in criminal justice. When I have accomplished that I will transfer to the University of Nevada, Reno to study criminology. When I have finished my studies I want to obtain a job in the government so I can help victims and their families get the justice they deserve.
I chose to attend Hallahan High because I want new experiences. Besides academics and clubs which was a big part in choosing to go to hh, I wanted to go to do and see new things.
